Kurt Angle got pretty banged up during his match with Samoa Joe at last night's TNA LockDown PPV. After the match Angle's back and neck were both hurting. Angle was no-selling the injuries backstage but the belief is he was actually briefly knocked out during the match.
After the show was over, everyone headed back to the hotel wehre the TNA stars were staying. Karen Angle arrived before Kurt and told fans in the lobby that Kurt was hurt during his match and wouldn't be able to sign autographs or take photos. When Kurt arrived, he had a large icepack on his neck. He got a huge reaction from the fans in the lobby, but Kurt went directly up to his room and did not return.
Angle and Joe worked a very stiff match at the PPV. Many within TNA are seeing their match as an example of how the TNA style could evolve to include more aspects of Mixed Martial Arts. Kurt Angle will get a rematch against Samoa Joe at this weekend's Northeastern Wrestling event this Friday in Newburgh, NY.

TNA has announced that they will be taping Impact tomorrow night and Wednesday night to give their talent a day to rest from last night’s LockDown pay-per-view. Below is an email that was sent to me by their Audience Coordinator Dennine Neal:
Hi Guys,
Just wanted to let every know that the next 2 shows will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, instead of the usual Monday and Tuesday. This is because we are finally one show ahead, thanks to the Sat. taping, so instead of the cast and crew rushing back from the April 13th PPV in Mass. , they can now take a day to rest and come back to Orlando on Tuesday. Sorry if this messes up any ones days off but hopefully by me telling everyone now, you guys can adjust your work schedules for the truly important part of your life, TNA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Below are our taping dates for April. There is no need for you to e-mail me to be VIP'd to these shows. If you are getting this e-mail, then you are on the Street Teamers list and will be VIP'd. As usual, show up by 4:30 pm and if you can, bring a copy of this email with you. It makes it easier on Mike and Ryan to check off names.
Here is the updated TNA Impact tapings schedule:
* Tuesday, April 15, 2008 Arrive by: 4:30 pm Show Starts: 5:30 pm
* Wednesday, April 16, 2008 4:30 pm
* Monday, April 28, 2008 4:30 pm
* Tuesday, April 29, 2008 4:30 pm
