Has their been any talk about a new batman movie? Because I would think it would have been talked about since after the last movie batman was given the jokers card.

Yes, it's been announced that it's going to happen. I believe it's set for 2008

Yes, it's been announced that it's going to happen. I believe it's set for 2008 That;s what I was hoping for. From what I've heard they do not even have the script started yet though. I figured since Spiderman is next year, then Batman would be 2008. |

Yeah, so stoked with Spider-Man 3 and Begins sequel coming out the following year.
Apparently at the comic con there was huge talk of Heath Ledger playing the Joker. Definitely a shock. I've never heard his name in the Joker rumours. There were at least a dozen different names tossed out (Depp, Bettany, Law, etc.)
Couldn't picture Ledger as the Joker at first, but there's a couple photo mainpulations going around, and they actually look pretty damn good. If he really is the choice, then I'm looking forward to it.
