AAA out of Mexico will be holding a big event called TripleMania on June 13 at Los Palacio de los Deportes and they are trying to get Bobby Lashley & Bill Goldberg to work as a heel tag team at the show, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The event will feature talent from TNA and NOAH. AAA is trying to get the event on pay-per-view in the U.S. and their American contact is a big Goldberg fan. AAA plans on making a play for Goldberg, but Goldberg has said in the past that he's retired. Lashley is actually open to the idea of teaming up with Goldberg. Right now, Lashley is training for MMA. He recently signed with Zinkin Entertainment Co., an organization that manages a bunch of MMA fighters.

I could give a crapabout Bobby Ashy or Oldberg. Hope AAA gets picked up for PPV that way I don't have to wait like 2 months later to watch it on the mexican channel.  sidenote: Artie left Stern? That sucks. |

I havent even watched AAA in a few weeks. I got too confused as to when the show i was watching was filmed. I really hope the ppv gets picked up and is somewhat cheap. I love AAA
Although id like to see more CMLL. its on like... once every 3 months if the planets align

I would most def. order this. I love Lucha. However, Goldberg and Lashley? Just the sound of that makes me want to die. Anyways, the sound of having NOAH and TNA there is good. I would love to see Takeshi Morishima kill someone in TNA. Anyways, I was just about to post this. Also, I have a question, did you get this off Nick's bulletin he posted?

I personally hate both Goldberg and Lashley, but they would definitely bring in a lot of buyrates.
Off-topic question: Do they only use the six sided ring for PPVs?

Goldberg I can stand.
NOAH mixing with AAA = Me buying
If the good TNA stars are there (AJ, Joe, Shelley, Homicide, Sabin, etc) are there then it's a bonus. If by "TNA" they mean "Ex-WWE stars" then the only person I can ever be slightly interested in seeing is Angle.

I'm surprised, with the bad blood between Konnan and TNA, that AAA would want to use TNA wrestlers, or that TNA would let them work the show, especially if it's going to air on US PPV.

No, they use it for all their shows No they don't. I watch AAA on Galavision and for the vast majority of their shows, they use a four-sided ring. |

It really varies. I think for smaller venues they use the four sided ring. For arenas and bigger places they use the standard six or eight sided ring. I love that all the mats say "Corona" on them. I'm still trying to make a custom AAA Ring. |

They use the 6 sided like 95% of the time. up until two weeks ago ive watched AAA every weekend for over a year. ive seen a 4 sider maybe 10 times... and a few of those were when it was CMLL instead for whatever reason.
And guys... NOAH has already loaned out some talent. Ive seen Marufuji like 3 times and Morishima maybe twice.
They dont mesh with bad luchadors BTW. they dont mesh with the good ones either :/
