I've already posted about this at the Video Game board so it's not necessary to move it. I added links to artwork and such because I know that less Halo fans visit this board and would probably like to look at what's in the HGN.
This is an anthology of stories that take place within the Halo universe, with the following tales:
The Last Voyage of the Infinite Succor - a story of survival on a Flood-Infested Covenant Cruiser, written by Lee Hammock and drawn by Simon Bisley.

Breaking Quarantine - by Tsutomu Nihei, tells the story of Sgt. Johnson's escape from the Flood during the events of Halo: Combat Evolved.

Armor Testing - written by Jay Faerber and drawn by Ed Lee and Andrew
Robinson, looks at the early development of Chief's MJOLNIR Mk VI armor.

Second Sunrise Over New Mombasa - written by Brett Lewis and drawn by
Jean "Moebius" Giraud, is the story of the fall of New Mombasa.

The Cover is drawn by Phil Hale
There's also a Gallery section with art from Rick Berry, Geof Darrow, Scott Fischer, Sterling Hundley, Craig Mullins, George Pratt, Juan Ramirez, Greg Staples, Justin Sweet, John Van Fleet and Kent Williams. There's also some art from Bungie artists such as this piece of pimpness
I honestly don't know who any of these artists or writers are because I don't really pay attention to comics, but I must say I'm in love with the varying art styles for each story.
The 128-page hardcover Novel comes out Today (Wednesday, July, 19) and for $25.
Obviously, I plan on getting it.
