Ok, we know you've waited long enough. The first three matches for the 5/10 Hammerstein Ballroom debut in Manhattan will now be announced. GHC Heavyweight Champion Takeshi Morishima and Bryan Danielson were given a chance to pick each other's poison. They have selected each other's opponents for the card. Morishima has decided to match Danielson up against a man that has held every title in NOAH. It will be Danielson vs. Naomichi Marufuji in a battle of two of the best that ROH and NOAH has to offer. These two met in 2005 at ROH's "Final Battle 2005" event, but they have each matured and gotten so much better. This one has the makings of a classic.
Danielson has gone a different route with Morishima's opponent. He wants someone that can beat Morishima up. 5/10 in NYC will see a first time ever battle of the brawlers as Takeshi Morishima fights The Necro Butcher. OUCH!
Let the hype begin. ;D

I'm iffy on this match. On paper it looks awesome but will it be that good? Time will tell. I'm hoping it isn't an extended squash seeing as I don't think Necro can pick up Morishima for much of his offense.

Hopefully it's better than Yago/Necro. I was hyped for that and was very dissapointed.

I would imagine it would be much the same as any Ki/Necro match or Joe/Necro match. Necro is great at taking a beating and this will be no different.

Necro is gonna get trashed in this one. Shima will straight up kill him. As for Dragon/Fuji, I'm not big on it, I'm sure it will be good though.

Man, the card for this show's rocking so far. Morishima will obviously win, but it should definately be a fun match to watch.

I will probably by this DVD as if it were one I went to, only because Necro-Mori is a match I'd love to see. Great visuals already.
Oh and for the record, I'd be fine with Morishima getting the win but I want a full out brawl. No squash of less than 5 minutes.

Wait a minute. How the hell is Necro going to do this match is he's booked for CZW on that day?

He isn't. The next CZW show is Best of the Best. Necro isn't booked for that show.

According to Necro, he is going to be at the CZW event in Philly. Maybe I read wrong or something.

According to the CZW website Necro is in Hawaii. If Nicky Benz loses to Danny Havoc then Necro must return and be at the tournament of death the next weekend.
