Yeah, I understand their theme music won't ever be as good as WWE's, but hey I'm willing to accept it for what it is and they don't really bug me at all. It's kinda like a fresh start and if you don't like the music, tough. Deal with it and move on. Thats obviously the same attitude TNA have. Thing is.. "Deal with it and move on" isn't a very good thing for any one to have to do when watching a wrestling promotion. People dont deal with it, they just Dont watch it. |

lol I gotta agree with that. Though I could say that I do watch it just not for the music. Plus the fact that it is John Cena's brother that is rapping on Kurt's new theme music. Kinda odd how that works out.

Raven has good theme music. Probably one of the best TNA produced themes.
Edit: And try and tell me that The New Church theme isn't awesome? I defy you to.

I honestly prefer Christians TNA to WWE, I hate when theirs lyrics, it just sounds intellectually- disabled. Like Batistas latest theme, his original was bad ass, now they remixed it with shitty lyrics, same as Kane, slow chemical ruined his entrance for me.

you got that right. 100 times better than the mmg remix. tna should just get the rights off these guys to use it. i mean, they're probably not like metallica that wants a gazillion dollars....and anyway these are the types of things they should be investing in instead of pissing away all that money on pacman jones. |

Didn't Booker use Music that is readily available for anyone to use/buy via Production Music sources?
I'm sure at one point he did.. Why they didn't use that, is beyond me.
If you can't make the music, pay someone to do so(and I feel the person they are paying right now, isn't doing their job)

Why do you think WWE bother with Titantron movies, Theme Tunes, character-specific entrances, Personalised logos, Lighting effects, colour combinations to suit each wrestler, unique attires, big stages, long ramps and all the other stuff like that? BECAUSE ITS PART OF WRESTLING! Pro-wrestling isn't just about what happens in the ring. if it were shelton would be World champ! sadly its not gonna happen. |

TNA has some awful Intro music. Only good ones are Christian's and Lethal's.

I agree about the theme music. I was just thinking about this the other day. Themes tend to be and need to be one of the most recognizable aspects of a wrestler and a promotion, but the only TNA theme I consistently recognize is Christian's. The rest might as well be background music, since it has nothing to do with the characters of the wrestlers or their personalities/personas.

Go to wwe.com and go through all of the rosters (RAW, SmackDown!, ECW) and you'll find about 10 (max) wrestlers that have generic gear. Also, wrestlers that have generic gear usually have it for a reason. the reason being that it suits their character. Bobby Lashley for example. He used to wear plain black shorts. the reason for this was because he was presented to us as a genuine threat that was not gonna be messing about. He would come to the ring and flatten you. giving him some mad gear would have made him look stupid and generally not be taken so seriously. Now they added a subtle white design to his trunks to make him stand out a little. Look at other people's attires. All attires suit the wrestlers. Kane has black tights that have red stitching through them. Because he is supposed to be freaky. he was burned etc. so his tights look violent. Triple H is a serious wrestler who cares about nothing but being on top. So he gets black trunks with a logo on them which rarely change. Jeff hardy is wearing casual and colourful clothes because he is out to have fun and enjoy himself. HooliganZ wear bizarre clothes because they try to be different. Shawn michaels wears colourful, flashy, expensive looking, clearly-custom gear because he is a ladies man and therefore cares about his image. TNA just throw any random pair of shorts at a wrestler or let him get his own random design done. The only wrestler in TNA that looks different is Abyss. He has a violent look. He seems to be the only person with any effort put into him in that company. |
