MY dad Just called me and told me he was in an earthquake in Evansville.  He was working and the whole place started shaking for like ten minutes... That nuts to happen around here. |

Yea. I live in St. Louis and I could feel it. The damn thing woke me up. My news channel said that it had a 5.4 magnitude. They also said that is shook the skyscrapers in Indianapolis. This was crazy.

I live in Indiana and felt it too... it was around 5:38 am here... pretty big shock as I was sleeping and it woke me up, so I turned the TV on wondering what was going on to a local news channel, and there whole studio was shaking! Pretty intense. I guess pretty much everyone through central Indiana felt down to Illinois...

Felt it a little here in Lexington, woke me up, felt my bed kind of shaking like someone was doing it, but no one was there so I figured I must have been dreaming. Then I wake up to hear that I just experienced my first earthquake.

I knew I felt something this morning before going to bed! I was sitting here at the computer desk falling asleep, and I felt the desk rock back and forth VERY lightly. I jokingly thought it was an earthquake...guess I was right..

Living in the Bay Area, we encounter earthquakes more frequently than most people. It's a scary thing no matter how many times you experience them. I feel for the residents of the Mid-West. I hope everybody is okay.

theres also been quite a few after shocks one happend about a hour ago and the news says there sould be more after shocks in the afternoon

As far as I know, nothing hit as far east as Cincy.
I remember in elementary school they predicted a pretty major earthquake in the Louisville area, but nothing happened. Apparently, a lot of Kentucky and Indiana lay on a pretty big fault line though.
