ROH needs to stop putting all their wrestlers in so much danger and tone the style down. How many times do guys like Nigel & Mark Briscoe have to be out of action? I think it is more that they are just injury-prone. Exactly. You never hear of people like Necro getting really ed up. Some are just more injury prone than others.

When people get injured the night before or can't compete the next week because of a head injury or something like Aries it means they are taking too many pointless head drops for the sake of taking pointless head drops. ROH has mentioned toning down the style but that remains to be seen. I'd rather see healthy wrestlers that go do less and get over then goes who need to get over by using countless head drops and not being able to compete. Most of the ROH guys wanna work the Fighting Spirit Japanese style but they can't do it. It takes too much of a toll on their bodies.

Hence why I believe "strong-style" was deemed from the phrase "only the strong can/will survive". As in, the style would kill the normal man. Hell it'll kill you internally, no matter, just some people have a tolerance or unhealthy ability to withstand the pain they take willingly. Very rare do I think the beatings are accidental. in the case of ROH, Rising Above and Nigel's eyebrow/concussion come to mind.

Homicide, Low Ki, Hernandez, and Joe, B-Boy, Maff & Super Dragon when they were around. They never got injured though like a lot of the ROH guys currently are.

Didn't Ki knock out Maff with a kick to the face in ROH? The WWE's style if very different yet Edge, Undertaker, Cena, HHH, Rey, Batista have all had major injuries in recent years. Injuries come with being a wrestler.

Injuries come with being a wrestler. What people don't realize though is the WWE has such a huge schedule and most of those guys are yup in age. I wouldn't exactly call Cena's major since he was back in three months. Look at what Triple H, Edge, Mysterio & Taker took in their long careers. Indy guys shouldn't be getting as hurt as they are for the pay they are getting. Guys like Nigel and the Briscoes aren't even gonna be able to walk in another 5 years if they make it that fear. You can only take so many head shots. Yes Ki did knock out Maff with a kick but it doesn't compare to as many injures as the ROH guys have got over the last year or more.

For anyone interested, I just got this off WrestleZone:
One half of the Ring of Honor tag team champions Mark Briscoe is injured and will be out indefinitely due to a wrist injury that will require surgery. To explain his absence, the company ran an angle at last night’s Chicago Ridge, Illinois show where the Age of the Fall attacked him with a foreign object that bloodied his wrist. Briscoe has been working banged up since the Dover, New Jersey Ring of Honor shows last month, however, when it was discovered that he needed surgery, Ring of Honor had to write him off upcoming events. As of this writing there is no word on what the company will do with the tag team titles or on when Briscoe will be able to return. ROHWrestling.com has a storyline article now online on Mark’s injury.

So wait...he's been working injured for a month..? So, they booked Briscoes to win the Tag Titles, when they knew they would have to be vacated...? blah....ridiculous.

Dude, can you read?
"Briscoe has been working banged up since the Dover, New Jersey Ring of Honor shows last month, however, when it was discovered that he needed surgery, Ring of Honor had to write him off upcoming events."
That means he was working through an injury that was originally thought to be something that would heal itself over time, but it turned out that he needed surgery, which they found out after.

Indy guys don't work Strong Style. Strong Style isn't even about head-dropping spots. If anything, they're working Kings Road... people these days.

I know, it's amazing isn't it?

No indy wrestler works a "strong style" not one. "Strong Style Spirit" is something that was taught from the New Japan dojo. Meaning the term " trained in the strong style spirit". You have to be trained in the "strong style spirit" you don't just work it. not to mention your overall defininition of "strong style" is ed up.

Strong Style is such a broad term, people use it to describe anything that is considered "stiff." I call certain matches Strong Style, even though they might not fit the dictionary definition of it. I don't think its a big deal if it's called Strong Style, even though it may not be. It's just a term used to describe a certain way of working.

Strong Style is more of a submission style type wrestling. Antonio Inoki made it up so it could look more realistic in a sense. Strong Style has nothing to do with how ROH wrestlers wrestle.

I say i agree with a comment that was made earlier The briscoes should stay away from the tag titles for a while cause even though they are good im kinda getting tired of seeing them with the titles. I say start a feud with each other or switch promotions and go get Czw or Pgw Tag Titles
