Maybe its just me, but I have just thought it, and I really think WWE messed something with Ric Flair's retirment.
With his desire, the one with "Leave the memories alone" by Fuel. It was a cool video and that, the song pretty good in my opinion, but I think they shouldn't show that video before he retired.
In every Career-threatning match, there was no video, they didn't showed anything, and when they started hyping him against Michaels they started showing it, and I think that really spoiled that he was losing.
What's your opinion on this?

By showing the videos and inducting him into the hall of fame, they kinda gave it away that he was gonna lose, the should have billed it as "Ric Flairs final match" instead of a career threating match.

You're completely right about that, but I still think that the whole thing was pretty flawless.

Yes and No.
HBK defeated Flair to retirement, it was cool. And now HBK and Batista feud because of Flair retirement is properly messy. I have no idea why Batista suddenly involved? He may used be manager by Flair, but still.

Because Batista thinks Michaels shouldn;t have retired Flair, that he did the wrong thing by winning him, that he should have let Flair won and continue his career.

Maybe you aren't, but I think you're not getting what I'm saying, or maybe I explained it wrong.
I'm not saying the video wasn't perfect, or something like that, I think they messed it up, because they showed it too early, I think they should have showed it after he retired, or maybe when the WM24 match ended.

It was fine. Everyone and their mother knew he was going to lose.

As soon as they announced Flair for the Hall of Fame, everyone knew he was going to lose. Especially going against Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. No one in their right mind honestly thought Flair was going to walk out victorious. We were all just looking forward to a five-star match. We got it, and it was the perfect way to send Flair into retirement.

I thought it was great. It showed the importance of Flair's career and showed us what we MIGHT lose, in case Flair loses to HBK.
