Mike Johnson at PWInsider is reporting that Big Vision Entertainment has signed a deal with Pro Wrestling Guerrilla to release their DVDs nationally. The first PWG DVD to be available at retail outlets, "PWG Sells Out" (likely a compilation of PWG matches), will be available on July 15.
Depending on the matches I may pick this up.

yay. I usually buy indy DVDs when I see them in the stores, just to support them.

Big Vision is really awkward when it comes to their DVD and the release dates, id be suprised if this DVD is easy to find outside of the internet. But yeah, if i find it, ill more than likely pick it up.

This is good to hear, I just hope they release some actual PWG shows and not just compliations as I'm not much of a fan of those. But I guess it is smart to start out with Compliations in order to attract new fans to the promotion by having them watch some of their best stuff.

I'm begging for one of the good Indy feds, like PWG, to release full shows. Not these compilations.
But I guess it makes sense, testing the waters. Still I miss being able to scavege like I could with the first ROH releases. Not the ones released this years.

Yeah PPVS just cost so much money to produce and DVDs cost like fifty times less to produce. PWG is one of the truely unique companys in the United States and they have a good thing going, and since I dont really order off of highspots, I dont get alot of their DVDs....hopefully this way, I will be able to watch it more.

Let's be honest too. Without a strong Indy scene, there really isn't a strong mainstream interest.
A lot of people, believe it or not, still watch WWE and TNA because they can expect more from the Indy Scene or some thing of a variant.
TNA has proven they can't be that on a weekly basis, they have to produce WWE style offerings with their own twist.
