A co-worker of mine in his late 20s who used to live in Minnesota said that "The Body" has/had parties at a Minnesota cabin during his time as governor. He said that he was invited as a teenager and that other pro wrestlers like Randy Savage would attend. My co-worker acted as though the parties are well known and that video footage of them can be found online. He mentioned that Venture asked him if he "got lucky" and Ventura said that he didn't either, which I found odd considering Ventura's been married for over 30 years. Is there any credit to this story? I've looked online and found no evidence, much less video footage, of such cabin parties. I did find in this one article a mention of his lake cabin, but that's all. My co-worker seems to make up wild stories, and I want to ask knowledgeable wrestling fans about this one to get it out of the way.

wrestling fans on this board have no knowledge Thanks buddy. To answer the question, I haven't seen any video or heard of any wild parties at the Ventura cabin, but I'd be shocked if he didn't throw the occasional party there. He never acted like a saint, even as governor. As for the "get lucky" comment, just about everything I've heard and read suggests that Ventura was a pretty faithful husband on the road as a wrestler. Doesn't mean he never stepped out of line, but I wouldn't call it expected behavior at all.
