I can't help you, but as a full fledged nerd, I find it my duty to express that I cannot begin to understand anyone that would hop on any book mid arc without picking up all the priors first.

i tried to find 1 and 2, but 1 is out of print. i usally don't hop on in mid story, i did it out of a wim.

They have put out re-prints of issue one. The re-prints should be readily available.
