Due to an oppening in his schedule Michael Hayes will be joining us June 27th for Summit County Showdown! What impact will he have? We have already gotten word that Jeff Cannon has heard about this and is none too happy.
Will he confront Hayes June 27th? What does he have against Hayes? Come find out June 27th in Akron Ohio!
Come June 27th and see the following qualifying matches for the Gordy Cup and much more:
Sami Callihan Vs. Eddie Insane
Jake Crist Vs. Matthew Justice
Corey Mason Vs. Jake Omen
* Winners of these matches will make up the first 3 Person team for the Gordy Cup!
Also a special edition of "The Thrill Zone" hosted by Jay Miller with guest "Dr. Death" Steve Williams talking about the Gordy Cup
All this is much more

Heres some other stuff about the company promoter from there myspace:
We at CCW are proud to announce that we will be ending the summer right this year with the first ever Gordy Cup. This show is our way of honoring a man who gave so much Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy. This will be a six Man Tag tournament. Special guest for the show will be former partner with Gordy in the Fabulous Freebirds Michael P.S. Hayes and a man who has had battles all throughout Texas with Terry Kevin Von Erich. All proceeds will go to the family of Terry Gordy.
The date will be announced very soon but we can tell you it will be held at the Rhodes Arena in Akron, Ohio. We look forward to seeing all our fans at this and all our other shows we have planned for you this summer.
Also any worker wanting a spot in CCW please e-mail me here on myspace with your resume and a video clip is available.
Thanks,
Don

A little about the man behind the Company
I am a former promoter from Texas and California. I come from a long line of wrestling heritage. My grandfather was a business partner to the original Shiek in the Ohio/Michigan area. He was also very involved with the NWA, sitting on the board for many meetings. Later on he took my father and aunt with him to Texas after losing his wife to help out Fritz Von Erich and WCCW. After my grandfather steped down from WCCW due to health issues my father was quick to step up and begin where my grandfather left off. I was raised around WCCW for most of my childhood, helping out wherever I could, and learning as I went. Shortly before the closing of WCCW I was moved into an office position. Once WCCW closed I decided to go to college and get a degree in business and hopefully follow in my families foot steps.
I started running shows in Texas and soon ventured out to California before taking a break and moving to Ohio to be closer to some ill family members. Just like anyone who has ever been involved in this business the drive was still in me, so I figured while up here I might as well make the best of it. Heres what you can expect from CCW:
No untrained or half trained workers.
A professional locker room.
A company that is ran like a business, not a toy.
An old school aproach to wrestling.
Our first show will be announced soon as we get everything hashed out with the building. I will let you know we are in talks with Michael PS Hayes about being involved in the show in one way or another. We will not be focusing on the legends though, we are more focused on the next generation, yet you never know who will show up.
