As originally reported on WNW Premium, there continues to be a significant amount of backstage heat on Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, The Motor City Machineguns. The heat is the reason for their push being completely derailed in TNA. Things started to go south for the Machineguns when they refused to blade during their match with Jay Lethal against Team 3D and Johnny Devine at Against All Odds back in February. As as result the match was booked to feature Jay Lethal with Shelley and Sabin being given background roles in the bout. Another reason for heat on Sabin and Shelley is that they are said to care way too much about what people write and say about them on the Internet. One source told me that they are obsessed with what is wrote about them and they worry more about that than they do about the well-being of the company. Apparently Sabin and Shelley are too of the most disliked people in the TNA locker room. Richard Reacts: Shelley and Sabin are good in-ring workers but the rumors of heat do not surprise me. When we had them in the media conference call a couple of months ago I could tell that they lacked interpersonal skills and were not very likable. Despite being over, the Machineguns have been turned into the job squad and that does not look to be changing anytime soon. credit www.tnanews.comDo you believe that tna have gone to far? They have been jobbing for ages now.

i don't think TNA have gone too far. they deserve it for being primadonnas. they are not the biggest stars TNA have, so they don't have any right to refuse to do anything. you see Petey Williams getting his head shaved, and then the next week he wins the X division title.

At-least Sabin and Shelley will stand up for themselves in objection to something they want to do, unlike the rest of the locker room won't in fear of losing their job, stupid bs politics, it's what ruins the business.

Sabin and shelly dont have the years or standis to object to stand up to anything. They are two of TNA's top merchandise draws. In WWE that gets you an almost uninterrupted two year World Title reign.

I'm a fan of them and everything, but they are being immature and deserve to job.
They are no ones in the business, like it or not.

Yeah good for them. It's not like some joke like Sharkboy acting like Steve Austin is more over than them. Oh wait, he is!

Wasn't it originally reported that Shelley refused to blade?

I won't say anything about the refusal to blade... As I can understand that to an extant.
If the other things are true though, they are being children. And as much as I really like them, they shouldn't get pushes because of that.

I'd be more obedient if it was another company, but it's just TNA.

I'm really hoping that they'll both head back to ROH or off to the WWE.

Why do they care about the internet?

While I'm a big MCMG fan and they are great wrestlers they deserve to job until Shelley learns to keep his mouth shut and realize what is best for them.

The fact that they are being hated on for caring about what ppl say about them online is ridiculous.

It sounds like this is more Shelley. If that's true, I feel bad for Sabin. He has never been this low on the card, and has been in TNA for a long ass time. They haven't done anything of significance in TNA since they've been on TV, so there's no reason to start now if they act like half their age.

I think they need to break so Sabin can go back to the X division where he belongs and Shelley can go back to shooting video's that nobody cares about

How does caring about what the internet fans think equate to immaturity?
