What are some things in music you'd like to see die out? I want to see Hardcore Dancing die out, it looks really stupid.

Sampling. It rarely sounds very good and it diminishes the prestige of the original recording.
And this is coming from a Beck fan.

Bands taking themselves so seriously. Bands who take themselves seriously dressing up to perform (this should be reserved for gimmick bands only). Songs about self imposed "personality disorders". You're not the only social outcast out there, muffin. Get over it.
People who believe in those stupid "rules for going to shows". If you want to wear the bands' shirt, go right the f*ck ahead.

People who say stuff like "I can't understand how anyone can like _____". It's all opinion. I once had a kid on here ask me if I was a christian just because I told him I'm not all that into Guns N Roses. How ing ridiculous is that?

I'm gonna go with rap artists songs featuring T-Pain, or influenced by said T-Pain.
Horrible.

If it's a guy like P Diddy who blatantly rips from popular music - then yes. However, if the artists digs deep and find some unrecognizable sample or alters the original recording enough it can be very very good.

Do not know if it is a trend but this whole phase going on right now where music has to be catchy and you have to look/dress like a girl to get signed is rediculous.

People rapping about hoes, gangs, drugs, etc. Probably wont die out, but why make songs about those?

- A style popularized by Kanye West where it's not about you being talented, but how many talented people can you get to show up on your album.
- Melodic singing in death metal/deathcore
Those are my two biggies. As for trends in actual music culture that need to die out, which I think is what you meant to ask:
- Nu-Metal - The new breed of hardcore kids (Fitted hats, tight shirts, bad tattoos, always acts tough because they're at a show with 30 of their friends who are all the same) - "Daddy owns the venue so I'm just here hanging out with my 50 friends" kids at sold out shows, especially when real fans are outside waiting - Fights
