I need to hear that one still. I really liked her last album. Marry Me is one of my favorite albums, but this actually lives up to it.

just picked this up a little over an hour ago. I respect your opinion on music, and am a Dylan fan, so I thought I'd ask if you enjoyed it?

listening to it you almost feel it's a mix of live jams. lotta jazz and contemporary influence on it...to be honest if it wasn't for some of his lyrical twists in the songs it wouldn't be worth the amount of listens i've given it. mostly love ballads...sometimes you wonder "if it wasn't bob dylan, would he be allowed to make this music?"
lotta mandolin use and organ which brings the album up, but over all it comes across as feeling like a cover album almost. it won't hurt you to miss it.
check out the theme town radio hour track though, which is a recorded interview from bob that is intense.
(after playing a george jones track) "...no i love country music, but i say what happened to it? you hear something like this and it's obvious it's about real people, and real emotions and real problems - that's all, that's the kind of country music we all learned to love. nowadays, they wanna sweep all the problems under the rug and pretend they don't exist. well guess what folks - they do exist. and if you try to sweep them under the rug, they're just gonna pop up somewhere else. so we might as well just listen to the old style country music - the real style country music. you know, the kind about drinkin' and sleepin' around. that's my kinda country music, and i hope yours."
not exactly worth the cash though.

It's a CD/DVD combo that's up for pre-order, but if you pre-order it, you get a ZIP file with all the CDs tracks in it immediately.
