Picked up a 7' from Nowhere Fast, a great band from Louisville, after seeing them open for The Ataris on Wednesday night.

International SuperHits! from Green Day for an over-priced $17 when I could have gotten it at WalMart for $8.

"The High End Of Low" [HT Deluxe Edition] from Marilyn Manson AND "Heat EP: All Pain Is Beat" by Combichrist
The HT Deluxe Edition bonus disc of Manson's new one has a 7th Bonus Track, where as other places [FYE, Best Buy, etc.] only have a 6 track bonus disc.

It's not bad....typical Rancid. I think they could get 2-3 singles out of it.

Ordered tickets for Taking Back Sunday at House of Blues Boston on June 27th, and tickets for Blink-182/Fall Out Boy in Portland on August 8th.
Couldn't be any more excited.

Just got an E-Mail from Ticketmaster saying my tickets for Blink-182's Cincinnati show have been printed and are being shipped.
Plus Brand New announced some shows, hopefully I can get tickets for the Cleveland show.

Finally got around to this one, And it's amazing. I wasn't expecting anything less since Green Day never lets me down.

Finally got around to this one, And it's amazing. I wasn't expecting anything less since Green Day never lets me down. You know, I bought this back on the day it came out. I've listened to it several times, I liked it, didn't really find anything too stellar about it. Then today, while mowing my lawn (we have nine acres, so as you can probably tell, I have plenty of time for music), I figured I'd listen through the album and just kind of zone out and try to soak in the story. When the last note of "See the Light" ended, my jaw was already dropped. If you take the time to listen to it, it really is an absolutely incredible, intricate story about two people just searching for good in the world. People can bash Green Day all they want, but Billie Joe Armstrong really accomplished something incredible with his writing.

If this band doesn't make it I'll be surprised.

Chickenfoot.
Awesome. Sammy hagar being able to sing the way he does at age 61 should be illegal.
