Did you know Jakob is playing the Kentucky Theater on July 1st? I wanna check it out, but I've got to work. Yep. He's playing June 30th and July 1st. I'd love to make it. But I am pretty sure I'll have to work as well. But if I don't, I'm going to try to make it. His solo album is great. It's quite different from The Wallflowers stuff. It's pretty much acoustic singer/songwriter type stuff. It's like his dads stuff in a way....only you can understand what he's singing. |

It's a tad different from the Wallflowers. I love the Wallflowers. But this is different from their stuff. It's pretty much just Jakob and an acoustic guitar for the most part. A lot of the songs have to do with politics, and war and all that stuff. A few different subjects here and there. But it's a strong album and well worth looking into. Especially if you are into the whole singer/songwriter folk type stuff. Fans of The Wallflowers should be accepting of this effort as well. I was pleasantly surprised though to find that it didn't just sound like another Wallflowers album. |

Billy Currington- Doin' Somethin' Right It has a few songs that I love like Good Directions, Why Why Why, and Must be doin' somethin' right. I will have to pick that cd up. I enjoyed Jakob when he was with the Wallflowers. |
