Check it out it is hilarious. Sadly enough I am pretty sure that this gives some media coverage to CHIKARA.

It's really CHIKARA invading Kaiju, not the other way around. Sadly enough I am pretty sure that this gives some media coverage to CHIKARA. Uh... that makes no sense. Either you mistyped or you for some reason are against CHIKARA.

No reason to start a new thread for this:
I've recently been checking out Kaiju's website. I'm not going to lie...I had no idea the crazy monsters that show up to the in Chikara here and there were actually from a different company.
I've got to be honest though, looking through the Kaiju website kind of gives me a headache, but I don't want to completely dismiss it.
For anyone that has their DVDs...would it be worth it to buy them? $45 for the three DVDs they've released and a bonus disc.
And please don't respond with "it's an indy fed, so you should support them". Give me a reason.

I personally feel you should buy the DVDs. Kaiju is really a lot of fun to watch and most people I know who dismiss it, who are wrestling fans, do so because they take pro wrestling too seriously. If I lived in the east, I would go to Kaiju all the time. I loved watching The Sea Amigos at the Trios Tournament, quite entertaining.

I love Big Battel!
I actually used to watch it every morning at 730 on the G4 channel during some blok of random shows. power hour or some shit.
its a lot of fun. wackiness of chikara minus the amazing in ring skill. they compliment eachother well imo.

That why I dont like it, I think CHIKARA does the Battel gimmick much better. Battel has crazy characters, but no in-ring talent.

I could easily get tickets to this event, but I'm seriously not that interested.

Yeah, i mean the storylines and characters are entertaining, but the few times I saw it on G4 right after the 80's GI JOE cartoons on Saturday morning, the actual matches just bore me out.

Either you mistyped or you for some reason are against CHIKARA. I meant it kinda in a bad way seeing as how I'm not the biggest fan of the Battel ?(thanx for the correction) but it is a Boston/G4 thing and I don't watch that channel or live in that area. But if you think it's good then that is cool. I can see why the coverage is great, but really do Kaiju fans really turn into good wrestling fans?
