Try using multiple clear rubber bands and wrap the around the arm until it isn't loose anymore.

Try the other methods or get some thin cotton and wrap it round the inside of her arm pulling it so often. Here arm will spin like mad but this is tightening the joint up when you are doing so.
I have used this method so many times and it has worked effectively every time.

I scrunched up tiny bits of sellotape and put in the shoulder joint of Jillian and it's fine now. Give it a try.

id also love to know a good whay to fix them and still be able to play with them as quite a few of my figs have loose arms. my ad 19 rey makes a rattling noise when i move it but i think the ball is loose in the torso.

Put super glue inside then turn the arm slowly to tighten it up.

I also herd somewere that you can take the edge of a toothpick and put it in the joint somehow

No wonder Miz' Scan is Smiling. I'd try the glue idea and turn it round till tight. Or put tissue or something else in the joint to stiffen but not immobilize.

Plus you will need a lot and just tuck it in the joint. Trust me it works if done correctly.
