I'm just wondering if there is any way to access the list of programs that start up automatically when I enter my XP account. For example, Quicktime, Winamp and the 'Language bar' toolbar all start up as soon as I enter my account in the toolbar.
Any suggestions for start-up lists or how to stop them from starting up?
Thanks!

First, check your start menu / programs, you have a directory with (' startup' or I dunno ; the french word is 'démarrage'). There, you have shortcuts to program which are launched at the startup. Any suggestions for start-up lists or how to stop them from starting up? Most of the time, in the program configuration, you can disable the launch. With Winamp, disable the Winamp Agent. With Quicktime, winzip, ... you can also cut it. The language bar can be removed too. I don't remember if you have to right click on it then choose to not display it anymore or left click and follow some steps to remove it.

you can go to start > run and then type in msconfig and then go to start up, and it will show you programs that start up when you boot
