I have a couple of MOC figures myself.
Two 1 of 500 McMahons, Sd vs Raw 08 Rey, CS 12 Warrior variant, PPV 16 Edge.
There boxes get dusty sometimes. I usually run a piece of paper towel under cool water and squeeze it to drain the water out. Then I carefully rub the paper towel around the package. I let them air dry or dry them with a paper towel.

DO WHAT I SAID DONT USE WATERRRRRR See the thing is, I drain the water out of the paper towel before I cleanse the package with it. This way it's just a damp piece of paper towel and doesn't really wet the package, but gets the dust off.

I've been told that the compressed air for dusting your keyboard works pretty well.

**"Lets all agree with DGNR8, he's the greatest!"**
Looks like everyone agrees.

I have all my figs standing on the shelf and they get REALLY dusty. Every now and then I'll take them down and try and rub or blow the dust off them, but it always comes back.

I put all my MOC RA, PPV figures in clear plastic sheets (B5 size) from Japan. For the classic ones- i can use the plastic cases u can get from ringside. Some RA figures can fit into the classic plastic cases such as my IE black Ric Flair so i do that. Example:

No idea why you'd rap them in plastic.. doesnt it kinda eliminate the display thing?

For MOC I usually just use a cloth and for the Loose on display I use a cloth and sometimes the hoover for RA 15 Carlito's hair the dust clings to his hair like and is a son of a bitch to get off.
