I just started playing NCAA09 after playing Madden for a while, and going online and playing is terrible...Everyone quits if they start losing.
I played this one kid, and I was running a mix of 4-wide and wildcat plays, and he couldn't stop any of them, so after 3 picks he threw and me scoring 3 times, he quit. He wasn't a bad player, just threw bad passes, he ran pretty good tho.

Wow.
I was playing as the Ravens, as they have a balenced offense and defense, and my opponent played as the Colts, he gets the ball first, he completes first first 3 passes, I intercept him, and after one of my plays, in which I got a 2 yd run, he quits. Seriously, come on people, just because the game doesn't go your way, doesn't mean you gotta quit, then I remember I was playing Madden, and this will always happen. EA should make a rule, if you quit a online game, you are banned from playing Madden for a certain time, because this is getting rediculous.

I throw too many INTs with Brees for some reason plus I have 7 sacks on me this season
I use Portis and Barber both in running but Portis more, Barber more for goal line plays
I've only passed with Ryan twice and he is 2 for 2 for passing, once when Brees was hurt for a few plays (one of the sacks) plus when I put Ryan in at the end of the 49ers game
comment/give advice?

also today beside my franchise, my buddy and I were in a party chat and he suddenly says "ok thats it Madden 09 right now me chargers you colts" and I'm ok. I beat him 35-21 with the Colts
I imrove my record from 7-17 to 8-17, don't really care for a winning record I just wanna be over .500 lol so I have to win the next game for that to happen

if your opponent quits, you can finish the game against the CPU and it still counts, win or lose

I am lucky for some reason. I went on to play with my PSP and I start a dynasty with the Bucs. Now, I have done dynasty before on PSP. So I do the fantasy draft and all of a sudden Brett Favre is available. Never had him before, so I go to make my second pick, and Phillip Rivers is available. Now, in the second round, Matt Schaub is the next QB available. So basically I have a great team. I have Brett Favre and Phillip Rivers as QB's, Chris Johnson as HB, and on defense I have Ed Reed AND Brian Urlacher. I didn't do anything, but it helped me out. |

I don't even have a desire to try online unless maybe if I join a league or something but other than that I have no desire to deal with the BS again that comes with playing most people you come across. I dealt with it last year but refuse to do so again.
I'm sure it has already been discussed but I must say it is lame as hell being in the second year of your franchise and for the commentators to say every game that T.O has caught 100 receptions. I finished my first year with 99 catches and now the second year everytime he gets his first catch of the game I hear that crap.
And I'm so sick of hearing Cris Collinsworth saying "There's just something magical about Tony Romo." I have that statement memorized and its gotten to the point that I mute it every single time. I think I'm going to mute commentary period. Its decent but hearing stuff like that every single game is just flat out annoying.

I did Steelers vs Giants online today, I was the Giants, and I killed the guy with Jacobs. My D was murdering his offensive line, I got 4 sacks, and 2 Ints. He got a lucky 60 yard bomb when I deflected it, Ward caught it off the deflect. It was 21 to 14, I was winning, I was originally punting it, he called a Timeout like a dumbass, and changed his formation to punt block, and then I went for it, and got a 80 yard touchdown. I was kicking it off to him, and I nailed me, and returned it for a TD, then he quit. I finished the game with CPU, the CPU nearly came back on me . The CPU went for the onside kick, I got it and ran the clock out, so officially won my first online game today. |

Everytime I play online people go for it on 4th and anywhere from 1-3 but I always go for punt returns or whatever, so I call a timeout switch to a goal line defense or whatever, then they switch to a punt formation. =[
