Yup, in my opinion, if it's even possible, EA should release the draft class themselves, make it easier on us. I don't think they can, for the same reason they can't name the players on NCAA. Sadly, I noticed that, why can't they? |

On a side note, I was a little kid when I bought my first NCAA football game, and I was absolutely dumbfounded, and pissed off as to why no players had names. Same, thank god for EA Locker now though. |

I don't think they can, for the same reason they can't name the players on NCAA. Sadly, I noticed that, why can't they? I think it's because like NCAA is non-profit for their players, and if their names were used then they'd be getting a profit? Or something along those lines. |

So what are your guys' wishlist for Madden 10.
For customization I want:
Better visor detail like NCAA 09.
More styles of gloves and cleats.
More facemasks and newer helmets like NCAA.
Different way of wearing your socks ex/ Cromartie wearing all white.
Hand warmers.
Towels.
Presentation:
Chain gang.
Referees ON the field. (Collisions would be nice like APF)
More individual celebrations. ex/ Brett Favre running around with his arms up.
Better entrance, I think it was 08 or 07 where 4 players were introduced individually but I want at least the whole team to come out more that looks more like their actual entrances( or more individuals.
More cutscenes.
I'll name some more when I have time.

More player details, like you said with the gloves and visors.
Somewhat realistic tackling (Addai should not run over Albert Haynesworth)
players that block with some intelligence, and don't just stop blocking as you get close to them.
middle linebackers that can't pick off any pass thrown over the middle.
more detailed and realistic attributes.
There's more, but that's what comes to mind first. Oh and NCAA doesn't have detailed visors, they have a dark and clear one, madden had a lot, like blue and purple.

-more detailed players like tattoos and such would be nice
-better superbowl celebrations after you win. the one they have now is ridiculous.
-better halftime show maybe, like 2k5.
i think the gameplay is fine as it is save for maybe a few minor tweaks here and there, so nothing big really. just little details that would make for a better experience.

-Practice in Franchise mode so you can work out schemes with your current team
-No LBers jumping 12 feet in the air, and contorting their body to make a one armed pick
-More stories in Franchise mode
-A faster Brandon Jacobs

From the little bits of information they've shown us for Madden so far, I'm getting really excited. It seems they are really focusing on making the gameplay as realistic as possible.

I think they should add suspensions in the game. Every once in a while a player on your team gets caught for steroids or arrested.

I like the idea, but knowing madden it would be completely random. And it would end up that Peyton Manning, and some random punter would test positive for roids.

Yea good point.
I hate in Madden after about 10 seasons in franchise its impossible to get a good kicker or punter.

Or a good player period, since you can hardly progress them. I could get 30 sacks with some scrub DE and he wouldn't get any better.

All good points.
I wish there was some "emotion/drama" factor added into the game.
For example when it's a playoff game in OT and I score a huge touchdown pass to win the game, I don't want Collinsworth going "Quarterbacks steps back, throws, touchdown."
I really want emotions when even the announcers are going nuts and yelling.
Oh I also want the sidelines to be like APF 2k8. Where if you're returning a huge punt or just hit a huge run, I want the players on the side to follow you and cheer you on. Not random like Madden. Also I loved how if a pass was going out of bounds and the players were led to the sidelines, the players on the side would try to stop them or move out of the way.
All in all i just loved the realisticness in APF.

I think a defensive spotlight would be a good addition. For example, if you know you are facing James Harrison and he is blitzing you, you could spotlight him and your offensive line would put more effort into blocking him.
*side note, what is everyone's record/skill level/rank/etc online on 09?
As of earlier, I'm 125-80, skill level is 12, and ranked like 7800 or something around that.

If APF's franchise wasn't so god awfully shallow, I could have really enjoyed that game. Yeah it doesn't even deserve to be called a franchise. It's more like play the games and it's a new season. |
