Quick question, will this be a separate game from SVR 09, or will it be the DLC they were talking about, notice it's only for the X360 and PS3, maybe DLC or a expansion pack?

If it were DLC, it wouldn't have been announced after the game came out as an expansion pack. It's a standalone game. Who would use Strike Force? Seriously... But yeah, E&C and Dudleys will never be in the game, atleast not anytime soon. You're joking right??? Go slap yourself Probably will be the last WWE game I ever buy.(unless they come out with a better legends game) (No disrespect to ICON here) He's probably never even seen Strike Force wrestle, because if he has, he'd know how over those mother  ers were. |

I never thought they'd actually get around to doing it. With WWE owning so much of wrestling's history this game has a lot more potential than the LOW games did.

No matter who is in this game, how good the graphics looks, what kind of super cool moves you can do-
It's going to suck! You figure that after 3 games or more that they've made and didn't learn any lessons at all from a gameplay point of view, then this one is going to be another horrible wrestling game. Then again, it can't get worse than Smackdown vs Raw 08, the controls to that game were about just as bad as any wrestling game could get.
Edit- Wait, this isn't the same people that are creating yet another shitty legends of wrestling game?

Do you think the announcement of this game is because THQ want to squeeze as much cash of the WWE rights as next year is there last year or do you think they have re signed with the WWE and this is a new yearly thing. I am really looking forward to this game it makes me laugh how serious people on here take the roster like its some kind of life time achievement deal to be in the game. I have my hopes set for a big new generation era roster. they could get away with haveing a few current guys on there to like Taker HHH and Cena and before people say Cena look at what he has done at WM then tell me that he does not deserve to be in. |

this is going to be a huge letdown, i guarantee it
first off they are going to continue to use the AWFUL control scheme from SDVR 08
and its called "Legends of Wrestlemania"
which means the roster will look like this
shawn michaels
ric flair
hulk hogan
undertaker
the rock
steve austin
mankind
triple h
roddy piper
sgt slaughter
john cena
jimmy snuka
edge
bret hart
and pretty much all the "legends" they've put in previous SD games, plus all the new guys
it'll basically be SDVRAW2.0
im sorry but im not getting excited until i see a roster of about 100 guys, all "legends" in their classic attires, with their classic themes in the game.
and even then i probably wont buy it because the controls will suck as much as SDVRAW2008
i stand by my opinion that the best wrestling game ever made was Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain
ever since then its been a downward spiral for THQ & WWE games
just a bunch of wasted space, incomplete rosters and awful control schemes

Hopefully this means that the legends are out of the Smackdown! vs Raw series now.  If the game has a good enough roster, I'll buy it. Hopefully Shamrock is in. |
