I am going to have to wait to see a roster before getting excited about this. I am really hoping that we have some really good guys, and not just the usual king of roster where we just see a bunch of big stars and none of the lesser wrestlers that people would actually enjoy using.

They will have attitude era guys, trust me. The idea is to appeal to as many people as possible, and what was the single most popular time in wrestling? The late 80's. Wrestlemania 3 had the largest paying crowd in the history of pro wrestling. I hope they go classic with this again. If I wanted to play with the Hardy's id buy a SVR 09. They should keep all the legends to this game and let the current roster fill up SVR 09.

Quick question, will this be a separate game from SVR 09, or will it be the DLC they were talking about, notice it's only for the X360 and PS3, maybe DLC or a expansion pack? If it were DLC, it wouldn't have been announced after the game came out as an expansion pack. It's a standalone game. You're joking right??? Go slap yourself Probably will be the last WWE game I ever buy.(unless they come out with a better legends game) (No disrespect to ICON here) He's probably never even seen Strike Force wrestle, because if he has, he'd know how over those mother ers were. tbh, no I haven't seen much of them. Mostly as single's wrestlers, so yeah I guess I was wrong. Anyway, I too am curious what they will do with announcers. I hope Howard is the ring announcer, which could happen. I also think McMahon and King should do commentary. I would take Monsoon and Heenan but obviously thats not possible. What are the chances of Macho Man making this game? Slim, I am guessing. Would be awesome if we also got retro Raw arenas, I am just wondering if this is only WM, because I wish it was just Wrestling Legends or something to that effect so we could get some WCW/ECW guys that were never on Mania and arenas like Nitro..

This will be a welcomed game for my xbox360. I didn't buy any of the other legends games, but I will buy this one if the roster seems good.

Hope they add classic venues such as the old WWF entrance where it was just a curtain. Depending on how classic this game is hopefully they add that WWF logo with all the colours on it.
Also add BLUE STEEL CAGE!!!

Talked to "Dan" from THQ today, we have a rep from that company and EA come in once a year..I asked about it he said he had no idea what I was talking about but then said "but if it is happening, expect great things" No info, but that's what I got.

I like that people are demanding nothing from the Attitude era... But what you fail to realize is that guys like Austin and Rock will sell this game. They have to include them...
Also, I think the Wrestlemania thing is just a name... That shouldn't mean that people can't be in it cause they haven't been at Mania... Though even if you go soley on people who have been, that's still plenty of people to choose from... If current guys like Edge, Jericho, JBL etc. are in, they better be in under previous looks/gimnmicks.
And I really want the classic Raw arena, the pre Raw WWF arena with the neon entrance, and the superstars arena, with the sectioned video screen...
And as far as this being revolutionary or anything... I imagine they'll be using the SvR engine... it doesn't make sense for them to create a new one... But it'll still be fun regardless, because of the legends factor.

I wonder if Yukes is developing it. They should get the DOR team to make it.

So hopefully this means no more legends in SVR... which ultimately means more roster...

As far as not adding the 'attitude era' rosters into the game. Though I'm sure guys like Rock and Austin will be in it, its just a bit of a drag. Let me first say that we have had them in almost every SD vs Raw game and its getting old to be honest. I love them both and I love their characters but every year I get pissed because they could've added someone new.
I just dont want this to look like the "Legends" from SVR when I go to the character select screen. I really want to see a lot of characters that we've never seen or haven't seen in years in a video game. Right now that is my biggest concern, that we won't get too many 'new' legends. But again its too early to tell. I just wish they'd hurry up so I could stop wondering lol.
And though I'm sure that coverart is photoshoped it put a smile on my face ;D. Possibilities are so great for this game. I pray that they do this at least tolerable.

*faints* yes I know it's probably photoshopped Well, considering the title of the game isn't "WWE Legends", I'd say it's a safe bet that's not real.

this is going to be a huge letdown, i guarantee it first off they are going to continue to use the AWFUL control scheme from SDVR 08 and its called "Legends of Wrestlemania" which means the roster will look like this shawn michaels ric flair hulk hogan undertaker the rock steve austin mankind triple h roddy piper sgt slaughter john cena jimmy snuka edge bret hart and pretty much all the "legends" they've put in previous SD games, plus all the new guys it'll basically be SDVRAW2.0 im sorry but im not getting excited until i see a roster of about 100 guys, all "legends" in their classic attires, with their classic themes in the game. and even then i probably wont buy it because the controls will suck as much as SDVRAW2008 i stand by my opinion that the best wrestling game ever made was Smackdown: Here Comes The Pain ever since then its been a downward spiral for THQ & WWE games just a bunch of wasted space, incomplete rosters and awful control schemes Uh...the game is most likely going to run on the SVR09 engine.

I think they should have the entrance with the giant R A W letters, and if you look closely in the background when your character is coming out, you can see Sabu falling off of the R.

I'm hoping for The Hammer and Brutus...I know, a bland moveset...But they're awesome!
Hopefully we'll get some legendary commentary on this game!...Jesse Ventura and McMahon could get on it

One thing they absolutely must do for this game is have multiple attires.
For instance if Mick Foley is in this game, which he probably is, he needs the following:
Original Mankind Dude Love (least important but still important enough) Cactus Jack Mankind 2.0 Mick Foley
Or with somebody like Razor/Hall who had many interesting attires:
Scott Hall (red Outsider blood drips) Scott Hall (AWA) Scott Hall (white nWo blood drips) Razor Ramon (green and yellow) Razor Ramon (purple)
And I could go about what they should do for Shawn. Not everyone needs a lot of attires, though. I just hope the guys who could benefit from different looks they had have the essentials.
I know they have issues with customizing outfits but at least let us change the color of stuff, you know? Kind of like WCW/NWO Revenge only a bit more in-depth.
