I've had my 360 for almost a year now, and nothing has happened. And if you were truly in as bad economic shape, should you be laying 60 bucks for a game? I didn't say I was in a bad economic state I said some people are, I meant im not going to buy a system for one game as the only games I really play are wrestling and other sports games. I believe that people only use that whole Xbox 360s are pieces of defective crap to not buy one. Honestly, if they ALL were that bad don't you think the console wouldn't have survived as long. Xbox360 truly is the best next gen console out right now. PS3 is cool but the 360 is all around better. |

I have the wii, which I got as a birthday present from my mom, and I do play some non-sports games on there though. I only have like 3 game(wii sport, Wii Play, and battle of the bands) but I know for christmas from my mom she got me 6 wii games. My mom goes all out for christmas for me and my 2 sisters both older then me, I currently am unemployed and living at home and going to college but stilll trying to find something work wise. I rarely buy games normally unless I do a trade in with other games or if I find a cheapy 6 Wii games...You know what six $60 dollar games add up to...conveniently...$360. If you truly wanted a 360, you'd ask for that. That's SVR and LoWM. Or hell..SVR or Madden, or NCAA, or NHL, or NBA, or Gears, or L4D, or Halo. |

I meant 5 games, it game out to $230 before tax at wal-mart 4 49.99 and one 29.99. Wii games are $50 not 60. I just don't want to take my chance with the 360. Ill get the ps3 myself when I can find a job. Anyways off the subject of price and what not. Id like to see Demolition in it. Does anyone know why Vince won't let Macho man be in any of the games or whatnot. I heard the story with him and steph was bullshit.

And yes that Steph story isn't true its one of those lame ass rumors some guy behind a desk came up with. I mean if you really think about it...how could you take it seriously? But this isn't the thread to debate that. Then again it doesn't help that Macho came out a couple years ago and called out Hunter and talked about Steph and all. But in reality its one of those big mysteries. And its a real shame too. |

Wii may be next generation innovation wise, but everything else about it is lame.
It's catered to non-gamers which makes the Nintendo fanboys hate that many games for it are dumbed down so the average grandmother could play it.

The "they're just beefed up hardware" excuse is bull **** too, just like the "Wii isn't next-gen" excuse. Even as a Wii owner, at the end of the day, the console is the same as an original Xbox with a motion controller and a half assed excuse for an online infrastructure that looks better than it is because they have a decent online store.
If nothing else, not being high definition excludes the Wii from being the game console that gamers (and even including the developers) will give a **** about by the end of the generation. It's a big console, selling millions of units, with piss poor software sales and shovel ware coming out their ass. You'll have to excuse developers if they don't want to take the time to craft a totally separate product that's going to sell a fraction of the amount the 360 version will and dumb their their overall product. And then, the titles that DO get ported are either acceptable enough because it's just the PS2 version with "waggle", is "good for the Wii," or is utterly abysmal. The great games are REALLY great, it's why I have one, but it has to be accepted that as a console, it's not going to be winning a whole lot of software awards, and there is going to be a lot of stuff you're going to have to miss out on if it's your only system.

I own a 360 but still class the ps2 as one of the best consoles of all time and i can see why so many people still use it (i do for certain games such as fire pro). The console updates are getting silly, every other year a new console is out (the rumors of the new xbox for next year makes me laugh and cry at the same time). Shame it wont be available on a hand held though. I must say, your old school sig is awesome even if its missing jake and piper |

I really wanna see it for PS2! Screw you Sony!! Or.. you can get off your butt and stop being cheap and buy one. I see no reason you can't get one. Bring on the "OMGZ DA EXCOMPNY BLOWS" excuses. It's not about being cheap. It's about not wanting to buy PS3 just so 2 years from now PS4 can come out and start the cycle over again. Also, WHEN I buy a new system, I'm going with 360. Sony is too crazy with their OVERLY expensive prices. Thanks for the support though. I guess the next time my daughter wants something, I'll just tell her NO. Daddy needs a new video game system. I should stop being lazy and spend our money on a new system that will be obsolete in 3-4 years. Hope you understand sweetie. Sorry. Yeah. That'll work. |
