Yeah, I don't really know how to explain this, but hopefully people know what I mean.
In Firefox sometimes it'll stop working, so when you close it and try to re-open it you'll have a selection of which accounts to use. I want to know how you can change the account you're currently on, since I clicked the wrong one and now I don't have my bookmarks.
Help is appreciated.

I actually just figured out the fix to this problem. Mozilla has a "Profile Manager" program that can be run to choose which profile you want. Copy, paste, and save these steps into a Notepad document because you will need to close this window to fix things.1. Close Mozilla Firefox. 2. Go to Start > Run 3. In the prompt, type the following exactly how I have it. firefox.exe -profilemanager4. This should bring up the Mozilla Firefox profile manager. 5. Click the name of your lost profile and click "Start Firefox." If for some reason this doesn't work and brings up an error saying that your profile is "locked," you might need to do a bit more. What's likely happening is that your computer thinks that your profile is 'locked' for some reason. That's the message I got, anyway, when my profile wouldn't load. Here's what I did. 6. Close the profile manager. 7. Restart your computer. 8. Upon startup, go to "My Computer" then choose your "C:" drive. Now click "Documents and Settings." Choose the name of your profile (may also be under "All Users"). 9. Can you see a file called "Application Data?" If not, your hidden files are not yet viewable. To enable them, go to "Tools" at the top of the window and click "Folder Options." 9a. A new window will popup. Click "View." In the scrolldown-area, under "Hidden Files and Folders," select "Show hidden files and folders." Click OK. 10. Find "Application Data" and open it. Now open "Mozilla." Open the "Firefox" folder. Now open the "Profiles" folder. 11. You should see one or more folders in here named something weird, then they have the actual name of the Mozilla profile at the end. Mine, for example, says "a81t5bf3. Nick". Find the profile you want to use and double click its folder. 12. Inside this folder, check to see that there is no "parent.lock" file. If there is, delete it. 13. Go back and go through steps 2-5. You should now be able to access your old profile. If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll tell you how to transfer the bookmarks, cookies, etc. from your old folder into a new one so that you don't lose anything. Hope this works for ya'. wfigs.proboards48.com/index.cgi?board=helpdesk&action=display&thread=1138243918
