Hey, how would you go about running halo on a school computer. It says I need to log in as an admin. I see kids playing it in here all the time though and they said they just burnt it onto a disc. I installed it onto a blank disc and that didn't work, so I was just wondering how could I get it to work. Help would be much appriciated.
Thanks in advance,
Curtis

Chances are that the people you saw playing it know a teacher's login. Or, you could ask them if they did anything special. By the way, what are you burning to the disc?

I was playing Counter-Strike or Half-Life that way before, back in 2000-2002.
Install the game at home, on your PC.
Then, burn the complete directory of the game on a DVD (you maybe have to zip the directory), or several CDs.
Then, copy the whole thing on the school computer (c:\temp was the place I had to put the files, but it depends on the system) and unzip if you had zipped the files.
Play.
But you shouldn't play. School is for work and learning. And you have to own the game too.

Get a large USB Memory key if you don't want to get caught. CDs are easily caught at my school.

Hey, I did install the game on to my computer and then copied every file i installed onto a disc. But when i brought it to school and tried to run the .exe it said i needed to be logged in as an Admin. The kids i saw playing it said it was on a disc. I didn't want to bother them so i didn't ask many questions. I never tried to unzip them into the temp folder...would that make a difference? It's a college computer lab so if I get caught they'll just ask me to leave. So, putting it on a disc isn't "dangerous". Thanks for all your help guys.
Later, Curtis Days
