Ok, well my computer crashed awhile back, I got it fixed and it and my speakers do not work anymore. I have tried several different things, and i cant even plug headphones into the back because when i open up the volume controls it gives me this "There are no active mixer devices available. To install mixer devices go to control panel, click Printers and other Hardware, and click add hardware": When i go into the controll panel there is no printers and other hardware, only printers and faxes: I have also tried to install it from "Add Hardware" in the control panel and it doesn't work either: If needed, my speakers are Boston model BA265. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First of all, your screen shots are too small to see anything. Secondly, what I assume you need are drivers for your sound card. If you have a sound blaster card, go hereIf you don't ahve a sound blaster sound card... damn. By the way, when your computer "crashed" what happened, and, if you know, was there anything major that happened before hand that might have triggered it?

A Sound Card is the card that is installed inside the computer that allows you to plug speakers, microphones, etc. in. A Sound Blaster card is a sound card made by Creative, the makes of the Sound Blaster Sound Cards.
