I know it's not going to happen, but would you prefer TNA to be called something else? I've always been kind of embarrassed of the name because people who don't know what it is (which is most people I know) immediately think it's some show about hot women or something. Then you have to explain "it's total nonstop action" which really doesn't clarify it any better when you think about it.
If so, what would you name it and how would you go in and change it?

No, the name is fine in my opinion. I can say TNA to people I know and they just assume it's wrestling. There's really no point in changing it if you ask me. Plus, it would cost money than TNA could put elsewhere.

Im always thinking the same thing. However any wrestling fan should know what the wrestling meaning is. Now if your talking to a non wrestling fan...well.....yeah.  Nah...the name is fine. If anything, these subtle changes should be made. A new, regular ring. A new announce team. The firing of the ****heads who call themselves TNA writers. Yeah...baby steps...baby steps.  |

They need a regular ring. The six sided ring only works for lucha. Ive always hated that for TNA. the name is fine

I don't think there's anything wrong with the ring it's just the fact that guys like Angle, Booker, Sting etc can't figure out how to work in it. Instead of Angle trying to "WWE-Up" these guys he needs to learn how to use the ring.

One thing about TNA I would like them to change is the ring. Just do us all a favor, go back to the traditional 4-sided ring.

Wrestling should take place in a 4-sided ring - not a six-sided one.. There's really no benefit to having two extra sides - it doesn't enhance the product, whatsoever.. Besides which, it's just another idea they took from elsewhere, anyway..

I can understand defending the company if you like it, but he defends 99.9% of what they do. I enjoy WWE, but Im not going to praise everything that they do. It called construction critism.TNA is currently one of the most flawed thing in wrestling period,but if you just go by the crapSG is saying it sounds like this is the great damn company in history.So he can go ahead and have his opinion and Ill have mine. Mine is that he basically "blows" everything they do.

I'm sure SG isn't an idiot and if he honestly enjoys something hes going to tell people he thinks it's good and if he doesn't like something so much I'm sure he'll make it known, as I've seen him do on countless occasions. SG obviously enjoys TNA alot as do I, there's no need for you lot to constantly have a go at him for it. Anyway I don't really mind the name too much anymore and as the guy above me said it actually sounds pretty egdy which is good. |
