First off i love this match. its always entertaining every year and theres always something to talk about in these matches. However watching the 2007/2005 KOTM matches the other day i was getting kind of ticked. Why would you wanna hang the title up? its quite pointless to have it a backwards ladder match. I think it would be much better if it had the same rules except instead of hanging the title just take it down like every ladder match? Anyone else agree?

I have always though it was very dumb, but none the less I always enjoyed it. I guess it is harder to hand a belt up than take it down?

Yeah they should just take the belt down.
But i suppose the whole point of King of the Mountain is putting the flag up when you reach the top, which in TNA's case is putting up the World title.
