The BMI states that if you are over a certain weight you are Obese aka FAT! PHAT! The BMI is flawed, and actually the WWE is a great reason to point out why. According to the BMI guys like Lashley or Lesner are overweight, the BMI just takes into account the weight and height not the actual fat percentage. The BMI is probably the most stupid system designed. It's number heavy and doesn't focus on actual health. There are probably few wrestlers in the WWE considered "healthy" by the BMI, muscle ways more then fat. |

Just about the Kane hair thing: Kane always had long hair. He had long hair for every minute of his wwe run, up until the night of his unmasking. The reason they unmasked him is slightly because he found the mask was a bit uncomfortable, and mostly because he wanted to shave his head. The only time Kane ever wore a wig was during the match where he unmasked. I believe that the day before RAW (a sunday obviously) Kane cut numerous short promos in WWE HQ where he was in a basement and was looking at himself in a mirror. During a few of these promos (which were shown throughout the night before his match with Triple H) he would reach up into the roots of his hair, and slowly pull at it. It was his actual real, greasy, wet, hair. They made sure you could see his scalp and it was real. Kane got his hair cut on monday. It was shortened and curled, and he put on a new mask that had a wig attached to it. As a solid Kane fan, the instant he stepped through the curtain on RAW, i knew he was going to lose. Why? Because not only did his mask not look right, but his hair was, for the first time in his career, a big, dry frizzy mess, and was a much lighter brown than it had ever been before. So he came out, unmasked, went backstage and had his head shaved partially bald. He never wore a wig for three weeks. He wore a wig for one match. Im not aware of him balding (i never noticed any bald patches, but in saying that, if he was balding, they could have put hair extensions on the straps of his mask to cover it all up). I dont remember ever hearing of him balding. As far as i know, he was tired of looking after long hair and wanted to get it cut. But obviously he needed to run it by WWE. As for claiming he's fat... whilst i dont personally think hes in too bad of a condition... What the  does that have to do with anything? If Kane is "fat", then Big Shows "fat". So is Mark Henry. So was Flair, Murdoch, Snitzky, Foley... i could go on. Thing is, Mark, if you don't like Kane, fair enough... but to say he's 'fat' is moronic. Who gives a sh*t? Its not affecting his ring work. Hes doing more now in the ring than he's ever done (including his 02/03 run). He's still portraying a big evil guy, and the crowd still love to see him performing. So yeah... who cares? I don't watch wrestling to look at guys' stomaches anyway. I don't care whos "fat" and who's not. If they can do their thing well, then let them. |

Chokeslamcena I agree. That's why people should stop making fun of Ric Flairs man boobs. Look at BDV. We shouldn't make fun of him either. BDV is a roll model. Yeah he has huge boobs but he is saying that no matter how you look you should be you. Because everyone has flaws and having surgery done too improve them is not the way too go. He hasn't gotten breast reductions and he is a man.

Chokeslamcena I agree. That's why people should stop making fun of Ric Flairs man boobs. Look at BDV. We shouldn't make fun of him either. BDV is a roll model. You guys obviously didn't read his autobiography...He wasn't set on fire...He was burnt in a house that was set on fire i thought that was just a story line and Besides, didn't Kane want to shave his head? Im pretty sure the whole unmasking thing came from him wanting to get rid of the long hair. he always wore a wig so what was with the the curly hair at the back when 'unmasked himself' the curly hair was to emphasize the fact he had half his hair burned off, thats`s why it`s still like that but shaved down. It`s just part of his character to have his hair that way and no eye brows. |

The unmasking of Kane was one of the best moments in the WWE, but one of the worst for Kane. It needed to happen but its done him no favours

I agree with EVERYTHING KKV has said. He is 100% on the ball. Oarticularly with the hair. That one night, it was just enormous, it was so obvious what was happening. It wasnt wet and curly it was basically straight, dry and boofed up. Kanes current look really isnt that bad anyway. He has a wife and im sure hes happy. Anyway whos he trying to please, im sure some people who see him know who he is anyway, no need for a disguise.
Mark, you keep throwing the same old statements around despite being proven wrong before. I would know.
I also dont appreciate the personal spite you have for me. I dont get why you say all these things but lack supportive evdience and then go on to say that we 'type paragraphs' and other excsues.
Fact is Kane is indeed older and after more than 15years in the company your body does feel the effects. BUT Kane is still in reasonable shape and his bulge is pretty much only evident when he breaths out. Kane is pretty much as good as ever athletically. He has charisma, he's got crowd reaction, an adapting arsenal of moves, a character. He's got it all despite being, in some peoples eyes, less entertaining. Nonetheless he still has it.
It may seem those that like kane complain a bit but its for every reason. Kane has had one of the shortest wwe titles runs, he has been constantly overlooked, he has been one of the veterans who singley helped build others (like MVP), has been a part of perhaps the worst storyline in history.
Kane IS still one of the better guys out there whether you hate him or not. Hes a veteran with loyalty and a massive fan base. He has coped far too much crap throughout his career.

IMO when u unmask a character and make them more monster than thing they go towards being human,, meaning that they cant go back.....when u see a more of a human side to someone you cant go back to beleiving theyre a monster if u get me.... so kane is not going to go back to being a monster and especially the way wwe is now as its more for kids and the attitude era was the time and place to have "freaks" as it were. i mean why is boogeyman not here(seriously wot happened to him) ... also if they unmask TNA's abyss thet would ruin him and then guys like black reing and relik etc dont have as much of a chance of succeeding either... also plz use ur amagionation and instinct when reading this cause im not good at wording stuff like this so plz dont moan im missing a point cause if u look hard enough u might find it.. 450th post  |

To be honest I like Kane. He is however putting on weight alot recently. He's not fat but he's fatter than he used to be. You can't really blame it on age, look at Taker. He's in the shape of his life at the moment.
