- Management told Samoa Joe to go the ring last night to cut a promo on Scott Hall to take the heat off of the company for a major star no-showing a pay-per-view. They wanted him to put over the guys on the roster and then to introduce Eric Young as his replacement partner. Joe's promo went about five minutes longer than originally planned not to mention that it incorporated a lot more content, especially aimed at Kevin Nash, than was planned.
- During the promo, Joe leaned over the top rope and asked someone off camera if they were mad at him. Apparently, he looked over at TNA President Dixie Carter -- who was sitting in the audience -- shrugged and said, "Go ahead and fire me, I don't care." As you can imagine, Carter was legitimately upset with him "going into business for himself" and taking so long with his promo. Furthermore, Kevin Nash was legitimately upset that Joe turned Scott Hall's no-show into a rant against him for some reason.
- Nash returned to the back right away after the match had concluded. He was waiting for Joe to show up so he could confront him about his comments. When Joe got backstage, Nash confronted him and a heated verbal exchange with some shoving ensued between the two. Joe soon backed down to prevent the situation from escalating.
- Joe gave an emotional apology at today's all-talent meeting as he felt he went overboard with his promo from the night before. He said he hoped his apology would be accepted.

Looks like he does indeed care about being fired.

Yea, ok. I'm glad this guy was there, and he could give us the real backstage info. Please.

That makes me think more of these claims that Joe really "isn't happy" with the company.

I'm sorry, but that is not a major fight. A major fight would involve one of them being sent to the hospital with some sort of injury.
That was just a shoving match, and I would not be surprised if it didn't happen at all.

Why isn't it major, it could still result in one of them being fired or punished.

Nash being fired would not be a loss, it would open a spot at the top for somebody else more deserving.
Joe being fired would be good for him, due to TNA's lack luster booking they missed their opportunity to strike while the iron was hot. Joe has turned into the RVD of TNA, not getting the title when he should have.

Would Joe being fired even being considdered a loss for TNA anymore?
Somebody could easily take his spot, i.e. Booker T.

Main Eventing PPV's, being one of the biggest faces in the company...

Well he probably gave an apology to Dixie for semi making a rash promo that in retrospect could make it look like TNA doesn't think about their wrestlers *cough* *cough* so I could see why he would make an apology from a business stand point.
At the same time, Dixie didn't cut his mic so maybe this was her way of stating that to a certain degree she understands. Senshi quitting though, what a dumbs**t. All he has now is NOAH.

Yeah Senshi is an idiot for quitting a company that hasn't properly used him (or anyone else) in years All he has now is NOAH, ROH, and virtually anywhere else in the world he wants to go, what's so bad about that?

I just watched the shoot... I definitely dig what he was saying but I also don't see the point in him staring at Nash like he did. Hell, Nash at least showed (and trust me, I'm no Nash fan)

oh I'm fully aware of Nash's track record, I still think it's extremely inappropriate to bitch about the person that's right behind you. Joe's got a big mouth, if he wanted to shoot on Nash he could just get on some wrestling radio show and do it. Very unprofessional to do it on live ppv with the guy standing 2 feet away

If that is a major fight, the fights I've seen at school in the past must have been World War caliber.
