In terms of how they look, and their performances to me in the last 12 months age is suddenly catching up with guys like HBK and Undertaker who are now both mid 40's
I mean up until 2005/06 I would have argued the point with anyone that they where still on top of their game. Even as a huge Undertaker and HBK its a sad sight to see HBK still trying to be the "boy toy" when hes balding very badly. And to see Undertaker as a shadow of his former self in terms of his aura just not being there anymore.
I think both guys need to either have a look at stepping away from the ring or maybe just doing a few PPVs a year like Summerslam, Survivor Series and Wrestlemania.

I don't think they should step away from any ring. Even though both of them have clearly aged -- they can still put on a performance better than most on the entire WWE roster.

Well if you want to talk old, you might as well throw Batista in there as well. Isnt he like... 45? And as long as they are putting on good shows and still want to be there... let them.

Taker didn't "suddenly" age, he's been slowing down since '99.

Yeh but in terms of how long they have been in the buisness and how beaten up their bodies are. I think Undertaker is 46, HBK is 42 and Batista is 39.
I just think its sad to see HBk looking so terrible with his bald hair and Undertaker is starting to look old and weaker and not so intimidating anymore.

i may get bashed for this but i dont see where hbk is balding. pics?? They call Shawn Michaels the "Heartbreak Kid" but the "Half Bald Kid" nickname might be a bit more appropriate for him these days. Currently on the front page of WWE.com, there is a photo of John Cena trying to help Shawn Michaels up after he was beaten down by Randy Orton at the end of Raw on Monday. If you see this picture, you will see that HBK has a full head of hair. However, if you click the link to the article, the same photo is enclosed, but his balding pate is greatly exposed as there is one big, long, "island-like" strand of hair in the middle of his forehead. In reality, Michaels' hairline is actually rather "Hogan-esque" as it's a lot farther back than how it's presented because he combs it over to cover it up.

Didn't these two have the best matches at Judgement day and Wrestlemania? I would say they can still go in the ring. Undertaker doesn't really look intimidating anymore but he still looks in good shape and looks like he could realistically keep up with most of the roster. HBK needs to change his theme music and do something about the hair, he can't move as fast as he once could but he doesn't look like Flair just yet.
I'd say they are both doing good for their age, Undertaker more than HBK.

lol even HBk is making fun of his baldness. I think HBk really need to just work the big PPVs now like Summerslam, Survivor Series, Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania. Have him on raw on special occasions too. Same with Undertaker use him on big occassions not every week.

Undertaker has been getting better with age. Every PPV match he has been having are classics now.

I think age has taken a toll on both of them, but not to the point where they can't wrestle any more. Both guys still move well in the ring and carry their share of a match. Besides, neither of them can really retire and take any sort of on-screen roll because of their gimmicks.

Shawn can still go to me. Taker has moments where he can, but has slowed down more. Of course, due to his size, it makes complete sense. Plus, taking a long time off had to help Shawn a lot.

HBK is still one of the greatest in-ring performers on the current roster this is a guy who 10 years ago was never going to wrestle again. I think he's still in his "prime" and hope he never goes anywhere. in fact i think he needs to get another WWE championship run.
Undertaker is actually in better shape now than when he was a biker. things like hair really dont affect a performer. Taker hasnt changed his game in years, and i get annoyed at people who say he's ridiculous for using the triangle choke, but then say "well he sucks because he never changes his style" Undertaker doesnt need to "prove" anything. He is, and always will be one of the greatest performers in wrestling history.

Shawn can still out wrestle majority of the roster. Taker is still doing fine. They don't need to go anywhere.

they are human at the end of the day, everybody ages.but i personally think aging affects guys with hbks style of wrestling more than the power moves/slower big guys like 'taker
