Im thinking of starting to make poses.
And have a few questions.
1. How do you hold the string? One time i found it difficult trying to hold it while doing a pose.
2. Would fishing wire be the best string to use?

1. Hold the string with one hand, take the pic with the other. Some newer posers also prefer to hang their string from a pole.
2. I suggest fishing wire.

i take one big piece of string, tie it at the ends fold it in half and it becomes to holders, with a handle in the middle, 10x easier.

i don't pose very often, but when i have done, i've found it difficult too. i would also suggest putting the camera on a stand or small tripod, and setting the timer? i mean then you could make sure it is perfect before you take the picture

Get a tripod. Hold the string with your dang hand. Take the pic with the other hand.
