So far, here are my top three and it was tough. Hope to catch up on 2008 stuff soon. I've been stuck on 90s AJPW and NJPW as of late. So yeah, I have a lot of catching up to do.
1. Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels - WWE WrestleMania XXIV (3/30/08)
2. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi - NJPW WrestleKingdom II (1/4/08)
3. Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage - TNA Against All Odds (2/10/08)
(Soon to be my top ten with I think things through better and catch up on my 2008 viewings.)
Expecting a big package soon. I'll check out NOAH 3/2 and NJPW 2/17 this week. I can't wait to watch Misawa/Morishima and Tanahashi/Styles. I'll reply with my thoughts when I watch them. Also have to watch the NOAH 2/21 six-man tag with Morishima, Sugiura and Marufuji vs. Kobashi, Honda and Taniguchi, as I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I'll do a list in no specific order, of some matches I think should be on there.
1.Nigel McGuinness vs. Austin Aries(Supercard of Honor III)
2.Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair(WM XXIV)
3.Steenerico vs. New Hazard(Supercard of Honor III)
4.Undertaker vs. Edge(WM XXIV)
5.Dragon Gate 6-man(Supercard of Honor III)
It's a short list for now, but I will update it later. I am gonna watch some matches from Judgment Day and Backlash that I didn't see that I heard great things about, and with the ROH PPV coming up this week and shit.

I would like to add the following to the MOTYC list. - Bryan Danielson vs. Atsushi Aoki - NOAH 5/15/08 - Part 1 - Part 2 I recommend anyone who hasn't seen it yet to check it out. Plus, Danielson has brought "The Final Countdown" to NOAH.   "Last Resort". |

Maybe I'm the only one, but I was very fond of the Aries/Danielson match at Take No Prisoners. Those guys could wrestle 1,000 times, and still pull something new and great out everytime.
And based on live reports, Briscoes/Motor City Machine Guns II will be at the top of the 2008 MOTYC list.

the only match I've seen thus far that I'd give a genuine MOTYC to is BJ Whitmer versus Jimmy Jacobs from IWA-MS April Bloodshowers 2008 {No Rope Barbed Wire match}. Possibly the best no rope barbed wire match I've ever seen. Definately in the top 5.
