Anyone have any information on this guy? I've seen him on the AWA replays on ESPN & he's awful.

I believe his real name is Greg Boyd. He played in the NFL from 77-84. I know he played with the Broncos and the Niners but im not sure about other teams. Verne didnt do that great of a job training him. I dont think he appeared much in AWA...Maybe a Month or two and then he was gone

When he first appeared in the AWA reruns on ESPN Classics, I remember thinking how terrible he was. He did this one move so carelessly that it's lucky he didn't snap his opponent's neck and break his knee at the same time.
He picked his opponent up like he was going for a Razor's Edge, only instead of holding him by the shoulders like Scott Hall does, he had the guy by the chin. When the guy flipped over his shoulder, Rocky Mountain Thunder lost his balance.
Rather than let the guy go and accept that he blew the spot, he HELD ON to the guy, BY THE CHIN, and sat down hard like he was doing a stunner... with the guy hanging from his back. The guy hit the mat in a kneeling position and his head snapped backward violently, and topping it all off, Rocky Mountain Thunder's ass landed directly on one of his bent knees.
When that match started, I would have never thought I'd see a "holy s***" moment out of that guy, but he provided one by accident. I'm actually surprised nobody put it on YouTube yet.
EDIT: I spoke too soon... here's the match:
The blown spot is at 2:00.
