I was watching some old WWF tapes from the 1990's and thought considering they were aimed towards children at that time, they used a lot of risque angles, here's just a few:
1. Rick Martel blinds Jake Roberts by spraying ARROGANCE in his eyes on the Brother Love show. 2. Earthquake kills Damien with a sitdown splash 3. The Undertaker locks the Ultimate Warrior in an air tight casket on the Funeral Parlour. 4. Jake Roberts unleashes a King Cobra on the Macho Man 5. Shawn Michaels throws Marty Jannetty through a pane of glass on the Barber Shop, signalling the end of The Rockers. 6. The Berzerker tries to stab the Undertaker with a sword. 7. Nailz decimates the Big Bossman with a night stick
Anyone else have any favourite big angles from the early 90's they'd like to share?

Every angle you have mentioned was fun, as a kid watching them, i was pretty scarred.
I thought when Andre kicked off on Hogan (late 80's fair enough) for the first time, he ripped off his cross. I thought that was slightly sketchy.
Papa Shango caused a few bad dreams

2. Earthquake kills Damien with a sitdown splash
Is there any youtube video of this?

I always thought the Taker vs. Yoko 1994 Rumble casket match was pretty freaky as a kid.
Obviously I was too young at that time to realise it was all kayfabe but seeing all those people gang up on Taker, then have all that green goey smoke come out the Urn and casket was freaky.
Then to top it off - we see taker appear on the screen and die and then levitate out the screen in that creapy voice - I pooped my pants lool
You could even hear the crowd go dead silent at times - for a young kid thats scary stuff!!!

I remember the Bossman Nailz one really well it was a pretty brutal beating, any one else remember the really graphic pics in the WWF magazine to go along with the storyline.

The two that stick out on my mind are when Stone Cold broke into Pillman's house and when Austin threatened to blow Vince's brains out in the ring.

The Pillman house incident was quite shocking due to the fact that the WWF was still garnered towards children at the time, I think this angle was one of the first seeds planted for the beginning of Attitude. The McMahon kidnapping one wasn't really that shocking for me as we were in the Attitude era by then and shock tv was the WWF's main priority. I found the Assault on WCW angles during this time more shocking than the McMahon kidnapping if I'm honest.

I remember when Paul Bearer mentioned there were 3 caskets at the funeral for his parents. At the time nobody knew Kane existed so for a week I thought that the Undertaker was dead. It gave me a really chilling feeling.

How about when Jake "The Snake" Roberts DDT'd Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat on the concrete?? Or when "Macho Man" Randy Savage draped Steamboat's throat over the guard-rail and came off the top ropes to the outside and ended up "crushing his larynx".
Or there's the time when Miss Elizabeth ripped off her skirt at SummerSlam '88 or anytime when we saw an upskirt of Sensational Sherri.
Any of those can easily be considered "risque" for the 1990's or even the '80's.

I think in this day & age, that wrestling has pushed the envelope that much that there isn't much left to do shock wise. I mean the only thing in recent years that comes to mind that really worked was Vince McMahon's exploding limo, but that was ruined by Benoit. Other than that, nonsense like Paul Bearer being encased in concrete isn't going to cut it anymore. The only other thing that could have worked is if Edge & Lita really had full blown sex, but if thats what we've come to is a porn show, then wrestling is truly doomed.

WWE really just ran out of ideas, with the exception of the McMahon limo angle which felt reminiscent of the Shock TV Attitude Era. However, looking back, the late 80s and early 90s featured a lot of then-risque storylines. It kind of makes you wonder what the risque storylines will be for the 2010s, if there will be any at all.

Magnum TA vs. Tully Blanchard - Magnum tries to gouge Tully's eye out with a splintered piece of wood.
Jake Roberts slaps Miss Elizabeth at "Tuesday In Texas".

I remember those. I'll add this to the list - ron bass cutting Brutus beefcake open while the WWF flashed a big "censored" sign on tv. I was young then and thought it was horrible.
Another riske moment was jake the snake pulling rick rude's pants. He wore a thong, but on tv they pretended he was stripped naked.

How about anything to do with early Goldust?? His early stuff with Razor Ramon being infatuated with him and everything was really creepy and made me feel uncomfortable.

I remember when I was younger, I was a big time Sgt. Slaughter fan. I remember being devastated that the Sarge was getting electrocuted by Mountie's shock stick. That was one of those things that upset me at the time.
