Well I've been a wrestling fan for about 8 years now, & I would like to get at least one (probably small) to pay homage somehow. I've been a fan since '83 and I wouldn't get one, and I love "wrestling". Don't bother. Save your money. Im in the same boat (except i was born in 83 but became a fan in the late-mid 80s).... Dont bother getting a tattoo. If you get something like the Horsemen symbol or Guerreros name on you're arm you're gonna have to explain it to everyone cause most people arnt gonna have a clue what the hell it is. The only tattoo I want is the NY new york yankees symbol just for the fact its been my favorite team for over 15 years and everyone in the world knows what it stands for

I remember once I went to this show in Austin once and this complete and utter redneck had "American Badass Undertaker" on his arm. Problem was, it looked like a 5 year old had written it on him and tatooed over it. It was really, really bad. Anyway. I have one similar to the one Eddie had but that's not really a wrestling themed tat and it's the same concept but a different design.

Whatever you want I personally like to look at them, but will never get one. Now everyone has them. At this point I'm saving that kind of money for things like gas for my car.

It depends on what it is. Just getting a WWE or ECW logo seems ridiculous. The only wrestling-related items that would make good tattoos would be masks, in my opinion. If I do get one done, I'll probably get Mysterio Jr's mask on my shoulder.

What i find funny is that people get tattoos of things like football teams and stuff, but they'll be the same people than inform you that getting a WWE logo is indeed, "gay". Exactly. Same thing with band-themed tattoos. My cousin had the Styx logo tattooed on his arm. He eventually got it covered up.

I would not, as I am actually falling away from wrestling, but I will get a band logo on me.

The same could be said for pretty much any other kind of tattoo...
and I think most of the people telling you its stupid AND are wrestling fans are probably just embarassed to be wrestling fans...whether they admit it or not
there was a time where I kept being a wrestling fan a secret and even got rid of all my wrestling merchandise...once you mature you start to see that its just stupid to not like the things you do because of what other people think....
I don't really care for tattoos though...

I mean I guess it's a good idea if you just get tired of saying to girls "Yeah don't talk to me" and you want to get the message out there still. Seriously don't do it, this is entertainment if you put anything more into it you're destined fora rocky road. Don't listen to this guy. He's obviously got a biased, one-sided opinion. Matter of fact, don't listen to most of these guys on here. What the hell do they know? There are millions upon millions of people out there with tattoos and to be honest, I am one of them. I've got 3 wrestling related tattoos so far and I friggin' love them all. I think they all look great and in my opinion are definitely worth the money. I know they will be with me forever and I am perfectly fine with that. You only live once, so why not? I will not have any regrets having them later on in life. It all depends on how bad you want them. Don't let any of these guys on here sway your opinion. If you truly want to get a tattoo done, go for it. If not, don't. Just don't let anyone on here try and change your opinion otherwise. Not even me, even though I've got a few so far. Ohhh ok, so listen to this guy, he doesn't have a biased opinion (as if that's even possible). He's just getting both sides of the spectrum like he asked for.

^Trust me dude, you would probably be the absolute LAST person I would ever ask opinions on or get advice from.
If you can even read what I said, nobody on here should sway his opinion, not even me.
It's entirely up to him if he wants to get a wrestling tattoo done. It's his friggin' body and he'll have to live with it forever. We should have no say in that at all.
I'm just saying from my own experience, having 3 wrestling related tattoos myself, I love them and they are well worth the money I spent on them. I wouldn't change a thing. I have absolutely no regrets getting them at all.
If you think they are stupid or whatever, then that's your opinion. But you shouldn't, nor should anyone else on here, be the one to tell him not to get one.
If he wants to get one, good for him. If not, then don't. Simple as that. End of story.

I'd never get a wrestling related tat myself. I've seen lots of people with the Goldberg Tribal tat, I think thats the only wrestling related one I've seen.

He asked a question, I gave him an answer, "Baw Gawd" that's how threads work, opinions included. Obviously he cares to some degree about how it's going to be percieved by people and that's why he made this thread to get a good idea of what people will think. My opinion holds as much weight as your's or the next person. You might not have been telling him to get on but by sharing your own personal experience and positive feeling you were in many ways imparting it on him. If you enjoy your tatoos so much then that's great for you, but you contradict yourself when you say you have no regrets and you get so defensive when people say something different.

(This is what I wrote in the wrestling tattoo thread)
I actually have 5 wrestler tattoos .... call me insane ... it's very addictive .... here's what I got :
1. Taker's flaming cross on my left arm 2. A baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire with Cactus Jack written inside it on my right arm 3. The recent WWE logo on my neck 4. HHH green and white logo (from a while back ... during the McMahon-Helmsley era) between my two shoulder blades 5. Edge's Rated-R Superstar logo on my right calf
Taker and Mick Foley have seen their respective tattoos ... both of them really loved them ... especially Taker. Now I need HHH and Edge to show them theirs !!!!

I have watched wrestling for almost 30 years, and in no way would I ever get a wrestling tattoo.
