Vince just doesn't want to pay the WWF a few hundred thousand a year for the rights. And yes, it really annoys everyone. But we get used to it. Yet, Vince can give $1,000,000 on Raw . My thoughts exactly. I would say, instead of unwatchable, its annoying.

I still find it insane how a Environmentalist company got pissed and sued a wrestling company because of initials, when while one company had the initials longer (World Wildlife) the other has been around longer and the only reason they had the name was because of a variation change (WWE). Why the hell sue over that?

Vince should use the 1 million to pay for the rights.

How come on DVD's the old yellow-blue WWF logo isnt blocked out but the other one is? The sole reason being the World Wildlife Fund lost a court case against the WWE for the logo. Hence why we still see the the block logo.

Yeah I can watch it, but I'd prefer the unedited version.

I once watched a edited WWE flick, and right away I just had to turn it off. I'm glad that I still have my VHS's though.

I reckon it probably cost vince more to get a bunch of people together to sit through years of wrestling footage, editing every little logo out.
Its a stupid, ridiculous thing that has ruined a lot of archived footage. I cannot enjoy a WWF program that is blurred. Takes too much away from it.

I don't even notice it, seriously it's not a big deal unless you're like OCD or something.

Why the hell sue over that? The WWF sued the WWE during the Attitude Era. During that time, the WWE has going "overboard" with everything sexual (Val Venis, Godfather, DX, etc). The WWF did not want to have anything to do with that, and did not want to share a "name" with a company with such images.

What I've never understood is how WWF (World Wrestling Federation) lost the rights to the name. They had the name way longer than World Wildlife Foundation, and I'm sure was capable of buying all rights to the name, so I just wonder why/how they lost the case of losing the WWF name.
But on topic, it does get quite annoying watching an awesome match, seeing blur everywhere.

Yea its daft... i watched Chris Jerichos debut the other day, the promo where he stood on the stage to the rock...all the time there is a sh*tty blur all around his head where WWF used to be on the titantron. Wrecks a good moment i feel!!

Over time I've learned to live with it. 2 years ago i got the Wrestlemania anthology which at first was hard to watch but after a couple of matches I completely forgot abvout the blurring infact just reecently I was watching the video on the wweglobal site and it wasnt until I watched for a 2nd time that I noticed that one of the mic's is blurred near the start.

It was known as WWWF before that....I agree with everyone though about how stupid and annoying it is to watch something and have a blurred image. Or have the saying WWF muted.

It really annoys me when I am watching an old WWF match and the logo on the ring apron is blurred, or the one on the set. Too distracting

It's annoying, but it doesn't really bother me anymore.
It isn't going to change anytime soon. Either deal with it or don't buy DVD's. There's no other choice..

With all the technology that is out there today, don't you think the WWE would be able to digitally alter the WWF scratch logo to remove the F? Instead of a annoying blur there would be a WWE logo in it's place. A pain in the butt to do? Absolutely, but at least the footage would be watchable..To me it seems very easy to digitally erase the F in the scratch logo, maybe I am wrong...By the way on the WWE 24/7 Legends Of Wrestling show this month one of the panel clearly states 'WWF', I want to say it was Pat Patterson that did it. No edit there?
