Lets hope so. The Sedins with the Sundin could be deadly.
Also Nikita Filatov signed with Columbus. Columbus keeps looking better

A couple of NHL updates.
Maple Leafs acquire Hollweg from Rangers for the fifth (Pittsburgh) draft pick
The New York Islanders have parted ways with head coach Ted Nolan.
And Forsberg won't able to play until Christmas after currently undergoing a Rehab Program.

Forsberg is still one of the best playmakers on earth... I still think he had over a point per game for Colorado last season, in limited action.
He was never a prolific goal scorer... he was always more of a defensive forward/playmaker with a goal scoring touch.

I hung out with Hollweg last year and had lunch with him...he was a really cool dude.
That being said, he's a horrible hockey player who would take the most intellectually- disabled penalties at the worst possible times (Game 3 versus Pittsburgh, in particular, which literally ended our season). The fact that we even got a 5th rounder for him is really shocking to me. I thought for sure he would just be waived, unclaimed and summoned back to Hartford.

I bet if Detroit got him he'd be a better hockey player lol. I usually hate summer because Holland doesnt really do anything. Granted he got Conklin and Hossa but thats it. Im dying for the new season to start

Its' the Toronto Maple Leafs.

We ONLY got Hossa and Conklin? Sheesh. Well really think of what we need..... not alot eh? We just need to resign a couple players now. Including Zetterberg and Franzen who are Free Agents next year. But I cant see them leaving anyway

After seeing Rick DiPietro sign a 15 year contract with the Islanders, no contract seems ridiculous compared to that.
I even think Ovechkin's contract is ridiculous... GM's have to be less reckless with a salary cap...
