I'm really hoping Vancouver completes the deal for Vermette soon, he'd be great on the 2nd line with someone like Kesler and Bernier. Rumors have Vermette and a D-Man(Possibly Meszaros?) heading to Vancouver for probably Bieksa or Salo, Pyatt and a prospect(probably Raymond).If they can also manage to get Sundin, there's no way they wouldn't be considered one of the top teams in the league.
Here's how i think the line-up should look,
D.Sedin-Sundin-H.Sedin
Bernier-Vermette-Demitra
Burrows-Kesler-Wellwood
Shannon-Johnson-Pettinger
Cowan-Hordichuk
Ohlund-Salo
Edler-Meszaros
Mitchell-Krajicek
Baumgartner-Davison
Luongo
Sanford
Looks pretty damn stacked, but maybe i'm just dreaming.

Demitra and Sundin would be huge additions over Naslund and Morrison, BUT the Canucks have a LOT of work to do on their D before they're considered contenders I think, and I'm not sure they can even address said situation this year. It's going to take some serious time to get that blueline into tip top shape.

No team is as  ed two ways from Sunday as the Bolts. It's like the '05 Pens all over again. Sign free agents at random. What a cluster of a team. They were doomed from the moment they hired Melrose as their coach. I'm surprised they didn't grab Murray just for the hell of it. |

woot teams r bringing back the 3rd jerseys this year. and a few teams will introduce new 3rd jerseys like Carolina, Atlanta and Pheonix.
i think vancouver will be a good team this year, but they need someone in there 2 stick up for their teammates, esp. playing in a division with a team like calgary

Floria and Toronto have apparently worked out a deal that will be executed on September 1st due to a signing bonus that McCabe wants to collect. So can Florida really suck any more than they already do? |

Before Detroit got him, he wasnt as productive as a goal scorer, as soon as he came to Detroit he started picking up the pace and ended up winning a Cup |
