This is the first season I've decided to sit down and watch since the first season. First off, couldn't be more happy with Tito vs Chuck. After seeing the preview, I can tell Tito is just going to with Chuck all season.

I'm really looking forward to the Chuck/Tito antics. I watched and liked the debut episode, a lot of good fights and some sick finishes. Can't wait to see the rest of the season, I think we're going to get fight quality that is lightyears beyond some of the crapfests we got in Season 10. Everyone so far looks hungry, in shape, and wanting to finish a fight. We should have some real brawls this season.

Sometimes I wonder if they don't pick some of the fighters for the first set of matches just so one fighter can destroy them and make good tv. It seemed only a few of the fights had equal pairings, the rest just seemed kind of one sided. Was exciting to watch, and I look forward to seeing the rest of the season, but I still wonder.

Was surprised Court McGee didn't get picked sooner, he was the most impressive winner to me

It doesn't surprise me too much that the one guy that won via submission got picked last.
In other news, Kris McCray is my new hero. Why you ask? Because he's savage...

Say what you want about him, but IMO Ortiz is one of the best coaches TUF has ever seen. Even if Team Liddell won the first one, I still think Ortiz's coaching is miles ahead of Liddell. You can tell that he really wants to develop his fighters and make them real UFC stars. Plus the Pinata Chuck was ing hilarious, especially when the guy wore it on his head, punched himself, and went down.

Honestly, I thought Tito did a great job last night of not only highlighting a defeat in a positive light (IE Not focusing on the fact that you just lost) but also turning it into something everyone can learn from.
He didn't have to keep asking for him to come back over. He didn't even have to be nice about it. But you can tell he cares.
On the other side of the coin, I'm very interested to see what Chuck's next match up is.

I have never really been a fan of Tito, mostly because of his attitude, but I will be the first to admit he seems like one hell of a coach. The way he kept asking the guy to come back to talk instead of just writing him off showed that as a coach he has a lot of character.

I agree about Tito's coaching. I've felt this way since he and Ken coached their season of TUF. It's crazy, he seems like such a douchebag but the man is an amazing coach. I believe that the better coach, with the better fighters deserves to win the competition. I think team punishment's gonna wipe the floor with team Liddell depite the early loss. Especially once the season grows long and Tito's insane cardio trianing begins to take effect.

After checking out his stats and wins, I find myself more and more a fan of McCray. Considering he won with a nasty ing slam on the TUF debut, I was somewhat surprised to see that 4 of his 5 fights have been won via Submission, and not a single fight has left the first round. I got my eye on you, Savage.

Seriously, if that slam was an indication of anything, he should be giving us some great fights to watch. I think I'm going to wait a few more episodes before I start picking who I think will win, but I can't wait.
