The fact that Hammertree/Tavares went ot a third round was bullpoop, I think Hammertree clearly won both round 1 and 2, to be quite honest. I really hope Hammertree gets one of the wildcards

I honestly think they had it go to 3rd round just to make good tv. I also thought Hammertree won both rounds. He seemed in control the entire time and stopped any attempt to break by Tavares. I definatly see Hammertree getting Ortiz....or Franklin's wildcard pick.
I'm very interested to see what happens next week since we have two fights.

When I saw who was going to be fighting i picked Tavares to win, but after seeing round 1 and 2 I thought Hammertree might have won. By the end of the third I thought Tavares won though.

Oh Tavares totally won that 3rd round, no doubt in my mind.
One thing I'd like to point out is that Hammertree actually listened to Tito, and I think it really helped him in the long run even if he lost. No offense to Clayton, but he didn't really listen to Tito during his stand up, and seemed to do the same when it got to the ground. You could even hear Tito shouting how to get out of the potential Triangle, and then how to get out of the triangle after it was locked in, and Clayton didn't reall seem to respond.
I'm a little surprised honestly, because Tavares looked gassed going into the 3rd, but got a great position, kept punching Hammertree right in the side of the face, and won fair.

Stupid ing knee. Do I understand why it was a DQ? Sure. But some of those angles they showed after the fact didn't really help their claim of it contacting specifically with the head. That was a nasty slam though. He was really getting his ass handed to him, but that was a such a great reversal. I'm also pretty ing glad to see Yegar whoop some ass so people will get off his back. Go Team Punishment.

Amazing acting job on selling those knees. So obvious that they missed on the replay.

Doesn't matter since he broke his hand. I'm surprised they didn't address that in the same fashion they did the broken jaw, since Rich even said the doctors said he couldn't fight for the rest of the show.

Go Team Punishment. The knee CLEARLY missed him. I'm not even sure how they missed that on the last angle. It was clear that his arm took the full contact of the knee and missed his head completely. These guys should get some sort of grudge match at the finale or something because in my book, it was a false finish and taking the back door out of a fight that he was winning to begin with. I agree 100% about Yegar. They've been on his case since day one and haven't really found a legit reason to do so. They called him a thief, they were wrong. They called him a piece of ****, when in reality he seems to be a cool guy. I just can't wait until he gets to knock dust from one of the many haters in the house that he has.

Yeager, Uscola, & "Sassy" Nick Ring are my faves.
I kinda like Noke & Bad Brad as well.
Good talent this season.

McCray is still my favorite, and that was only further confirmed by the celebration piggy-back ride he gave Yeager. One thing that pissed me off last night regarding the knee was Dana's recap of everything. "Rich was dominating, and then he got some illegal knees". Not sure what ing fight you were watching, but last time I checked, Kyacey reversed into side mount, was hitting him with some pretty good elbows, and as they were against the cage, got two knees into his chest/arm area. While I kind of see Dana's point, Rich was not in control at that time at all. And before Rich got that punch in that knocked Kyacey down, Kyacey was getting the best of him from a distance.

I just don't get how Kyacey doesn't have a broken neck after that slam...jeez
I'm bummed though, I like him, wanted him to win

I thought he was done after that slam, but he straight up Matt Hughes that crapand came back, only to get taken out by a bull**** DQ call.

I just can't believe that they stuck with the call AFTER seeing the replay. I know fighting's a tough job and I'd probably never be able to be a pro fighter, but it's hard to have respect for a guy who feels the need to resort to acting to win a fight.
I hate to pull the favorites card here, but does anyone feel like those knees would've gotten a longer look if it had been one of Chuck's guys?

I don't think anyone saw the replay except the people at home, I'm pretty sure they went with what everyone thought they saw and how Rich acted afterwards.

But hopefully this guy gets his card pulled about that. I know it's not the biggest deal ever, but Dana is ALWAYS questioning the integrity of his fighters so it would be wierd to see him disregard this guy faking an injury to win a fight.

Man, that fight was savage. Just not in the way I wanted it to be. Have to give props to Kris for hanging in there, and doing a great deal to get better positions and try to take advantage of positions. But that doesn't amount to **** if you can't hit them. After seeing some of his other fights, I have no idea what happened to Kris.
Props to Josh for showing everyone up, much like Yeager did last week. Here's to hoping McCray gets a crack at that Wild Card spot.

Nick Ring really didn't live up to his hype... IMO Court had the better of him there
