Hey guys,
I received some more stuff from eBay within the last two weeks or so and I thought I'd share pics with everyone. Of course, all of these receivings are in the classic BCA form so I hope you guys enjoy this look back into late 90s wrestling figures, both the good and the bad.
First, we have the limited edition Hart brothers 2-Pack featuring Bret and Owen. This was once a very hard set to come by in stores, commanding high prices but now can be found for relatively cheap. I paid just under $20 shipped for the set, and I'm glad to finally own these variations of classic Bret and Owen attires.
There were some lacking details with this set, especially the back of Bret's tights (which Jakks then never seemed to correct) as well as Owen's which likely should have featured the King of Harts logos given the time period (early 1996). Anyway, it is a great set and I was also able to recently buy the Razor/Diesel set, so pics of that should be here by next week.
Next up is a small lot of figures I won for around $15 shipped:
Slammers Series 2 Patriot
Signature Series 2 Shawn Michaels
Shotgun Saturday Night Legion of Doom/Road Warriors
As well as some loose pics...
*Also, note: the Patriot and Shawn Michaels are in the Slammers style of figures with action features, unlike the regular BCA figures.
Just thought I'd throw this in: The SSN LOD figures are different from the Tag Team Series 1 set as the arm mold for the SSN figures is more muscular and the tights have the silver outline missing from their first figures. In my opinion, these are the better figures of the two sets (other than the 2 Tuff Series 3 LOD 2000 figures). And, HBK never wore this particular attire although it is basically zebra-striped molded entrance gear with plain black tights supposed to be underneath.
Next, is the Superstars Series 1 Undertaker figure I won a little while back. This is probably one of my favorite BCA figures based on the detail and era of this particular figure.
Loose pics
Also, here shown next to the Superstars Series 2 Glow In The Dark Undertaker re-paint:
And, finally, the following small lot also cost me a little over $15 shipped, with quite possibly the ugliest wrestling figure you will ever encounter:
I give to you the Live Wire Series 1 Stone Cold Steve Austin figure with the STOMP Series head sculpt.
With a face that only a mother (or serious collector) could love...
Here are the other two figures I bought from the same seller: Live Wire Series 2 Val Venis and KOTR/BreakDown Series Goldust w/removable robe.
And, finally, loose pictures of these two:
Notice the different colored attire (actually, the correct one) next to Venis's original Superstars Series 7/2 Tuff Series 4 figure on the right:
And, with everyone's favorite cluster of a figure: Backlash Series 5 Right to Censor Val Venis/Sean Morley:
Back to Goldust, with the ridiculously awesome door accessory...
A shot of my favorite BCA Goldust: Superstars Series 1 re-release with the gold robe, removable wig and 2 Tuff Series 1 Marlena figure:
And, all four of my BCA Goldust's with slightly different attires for the most part:
Thanks for looking, and I hope this didn't take too long to load.
