Hey I want to start watching UFC, it has always been there appealing in front of my eyes, but I really had never watched it. So yeah can someone tell me what days/and what time it comes on TV, and is it all on Spike?

Thurdays: UFC Unleashed, The Ultimate Fighter, UFC Unleashed that's the order it usually comes on. Don't forget about the '' Fight Night Lives '' that they have every so often. Oh and the Pay Per Views as well. If you have the VS channel you should try and catch some '' WEC '' their shows are always great.

Wednesdays are the best for UFC on Spike.

Whats the dif between UFC unleashed, and the ultimate fighter? Unleashed is a show that shows previous MMA pay per view fights. The Ultimate Fighter is a reality tv show that is basically a tournament to determine the next fighter signed with the UFC. - Iron Heart

OK well when do they play new MMA fights? Nope, only on '' Fight Night Live Specials. '' Although, all of WEC's fights are free. - Iron Heart

What is WEC

It's almost like a "farm" league for the UFC, though they have some of the best fighters in the world as well. A lot of the smaller weight class fighters (145 lbs, 135 lbs) are in WEC because UFC doesn't think they can market them on their cards.

There's also a little-known "highlight" show called "UFC Wired" that comes on late at nights on MyNetworkTV.
It's basically a showcase of old fights, although some are pretty recent. There's at least one good fight per showing, IMO, and it is an hour.
Although I'm not too sure on the exact time of it, I know that it comes on late at nights on Saturdays and Sundays.
If you're a raging chronic insomniac like me, it bounces between "well, what else am I going to watch?" and "pure MMA bliss" status depending on which fights are shown.

TV Shows:
The Ultimate Fighter: Unheard of guys coming on the show to fight to see who gets a contract with the UFC. One or sometimes 2 fights per show and the loser gets eliminated from the contract opportunity. Ultimate Fight Night: One live fight card every few months. They have one coming up on the 21 on Spike TV Unleashed: It's a best of show, really. They air a lot of mid card fights but do show many main events. UFC Wired: Just like Unleashed
WEC: A smaller company owned by the UFC that airs on the Versus network. They aired a recent show (Faber vs. Pulver) and it was a huge success. They're really about the 135 and 145 pound weight classes that the UFC doesn't have.
Champions:
Heavyweight: Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera Light Heavyweight: Quinton Rampage Jackson Middleweight: Anderson Silva (He's pretty much unstoppable and one of the best fighters in the world) Welterweight: GSP (Georges St. Pierre, considered pound for pound one of the best fighters in the world) Lightweight: BJ Penn (Regarded as one of the best, if not the best fighter in the world.)

WEC is on Versus (check your guide channel to see if you have it)
You can catch WEC Wreckage, almost everyday. Which is like UFC Unleashed, showing past fights. (guys like Sonnen, Filho, Mayhem, Faber, etc)
And they also show past cards, in full. WEC has some terrific fighters, and in all honesty, their live cards are usually better than UFC PPVs. WEC 34 certainly was.
