Like I said in the Raw Thread, I like how they are pushing Cade and attempting to create a new star in him. That's what WWE has been needing to do for a while: creating new stars. What do you all think about this?

I don't know if they'll actually push Cade well or not, but I think they should. Cade has been with the company for a while, and he seems to have the charisma and the ring savvy of a headliner. He just needs to find his niche. He can do it... if Shawn Michaels believes in him, then I sure as hell do.

Interesting guy to push in a main event feud to say the least... unless they're gonna bring to light how HBK trained Cade, and that Jericho aligned with Cade to take out HBK, I have no idea where they're taking this.

Well, I'm sure they will play off the whole "He was trained by Shawn Michaels" angle, which could fit in well with the current direction of the feud (bringing back Flair for tonight, Triple H getting involved on his behalf, etc).
However, I don't see much potential in Cade especially since he was pushed in the past as a singles wrestler and nothing ever came of that.

...they could have picked someone to make a star out of who like, doesn't suck.
....or at least has a personality.
Just my opinion though.

good idea, just remember when JBL 1st started as a singles guy no one liked him either. Raw needs some more major heels. I don't like how they handled this whole y2j/hbk thing either.

I forgot to record Raw on my DVR tonight...Sounds like it was a good mistake.
I think my days with WWE are pretty much finished, especially after hearing about Cade's push.

It's too late for Cade in my opinion. I just don't see it in him. I could be wrong. But I think he'll never be anything more than a tag wrestler or a lackey.

I prefer my Lance Cades to have long hair. I prefer my Lance Cades with a side of fat guy with mutton chop sideburns.

I don't think I've ever felt too ecstatic to have him on my television. I'd argue with you more about Danielson, but aside from a handful of DVD's I've seen him on, while he was entertaining, I could honestly give a crapabout him.

I'm interested in him feuding with Jeff Hardy, but making him interfere in the main event tonight was random. I think they might do with Cade what they did with JBL and that's toss him right into the main event, but I can't see him getting any momentum with guys like Triple H and Cena still there. Honestly, I think Cade would do better on SmackDown first, as a contender for the US title. Not ECW, though. He's a little better than that.

its just a minor push. all i thought of when i saw raw tonight was a 2008 version of Jericho and Christian.
and TBH, id rather see Cade get this kind of push instead of someone like, Hawkins... or Ryder.... or a bald dude.... or Chavo....
