Credit goes to MMA ManiaDave Meltzer has the scoop via F4WOnline.com:
“Dana White has moved the meeting for UFC employees to Noon tomorrow (Wednesday) for the big announcement. So word should break shortly after that time.”
This better be good.
And even though we promised not to speculate, it is worth noting that the New York Assembly Tourism, Arts and Sports Development Committee is expected to vote (again) on proposed legislation to legalize mixed martial arts in the “Empire State” tomorrow.
Perhaps the two are somehow related … or not. This had really better "set the tone for MMA for the next five years" with how much hype this thing is getting. This is getting just a bit tedious. I really want them to tell us already. At this point, nothing short of a mammoth genre-changing announcement could hope to live up to all the hype this thing has been getting. I'll guess we'll know by tomorrow...hopefully.

Even if it is the announcement that mma will be sanctioned in New York, it's likely that many will be underwhelmed considering the wait.
Considering that the sanctioning is in limbo, it'd be smart for them to have a few other things in store in regards to their announcement.

Delayed again? Jesus, I'm getting a little pissed. This really better be good. MMA in New York was denied by a big vote last week, so it won't magically change tomorrow, if that's what Dana's waiting for.

I got myself to forget about it today so I wouldn't be waiting so much. Then I was pumped, "Big Announcement."
......."Delayed Again."
Sons a bitches.
They better have bought the IFL.

Dana's been making some headway with the action figure line and Anderson Silva announcements, so I think we've got a reasonable shot of "The big announcement" being good.
Or Dana could shoot himself in the foot again and pull the plug on this upswing with something incredibly lame.
At least we'll know...soon.
We better know soon, though. This is really starting to get frustrating.

Dana White is apparently being booked as a guest on a bunch of major market radio stations tomorrow. No idea if that means anything, but there you have it.

One more hour. This had better not get delayed again, and had better be worth this wait/publicity.

Both of those guys are based on the West Coast, so the actual announcement may be closer to 3 p.m. ET due to the time zone differences.

So I guess someone has to ask, any speculation from you guys as to what he is going to announce?

I think the UFC has been sold... partially or entirely.
Dana White is assembling all UFC employees for a meeting to break the big news to them before announcing it publicly. To me, that means the big news is something that will directly affect every UFC employee, and is something they all need to hear from Dana, before the media knows about it.
A big fighter signing, or a major show announcement, or even a huge TV deal or sponsor doesn't really fit the description of "employees need to be brought together for a meeting."

Well like you told me earlier, the two can be the same. Either way, as long as the WWE has nothing to do with this (which I know they dont) Im sure it is for the better of the company. Dana would not sell without good intentions.

Dana would not sell without good intentions. If the UFC really has been sold, I'm thinking the Fertittas probably sold their stake. They'd cash out before Dana White would... although if someone offered Dana White $75 million to take a hike, I'm sure he'd consider leaving the business.
