No I don't think he's ever fought, a fight with Tito was being hyped up but then fell apart but as I remember it was only ever going to be boxing anyway.

I don't believe he's ever had a single MMA fight in his life. I could be wrong though. However, a few years back, Tito Ortiz called out Dana White and wanted to set up a "sparring/boxing" bout which would've consisted of three 3-minute rounds.
Well, Dana took it personally and began getting into shape and he was training his ass off, meanwhile Tito thought it was all one big joke and didn't take it seriously at all.
The date for the fight grew closer and closer, and it came time for the official weigh-ins and Dana weighed in and was ready to go, but Tito was NOWHERE to be found. He backed out of it after calling Dana out.
So, if you ask me, since Tito backed out, I'd say the winner by forfeit is Dana White.
However, since it never happened, there was no winner. I think Dana would've taken him too. Or at the very least given him a good go for sure.

Dana does BJJ with the Fertitta brothers. I think that's how they all met originally. Don't quote me on it though.

Chuck says in his book they were always friends, and Dana used to be an ametuer boxer. Dana gave up on being a boxer because he thought he'd never make it in the big show. Looking back on it, Dana made the right god damn choice, wouldn't you say?

Tito backed out tbh. And Dana was lucky he did.

Tito backed out tbh. And Dana was lucky he did. It was all-risk, little reward for both Tito and the UFC. It was a stupid idea from the beginning.
